This place is always swamped so be prepared to wait, it will be worth it. Hands down my favorite breakfast restaurant in KC. Pretty much any thing and every thing on the menu is a solid choice.

The blueberry pancakes are to DIE FOR! What a great place to brunch at! Just a fair warning-there is usually a massive wait on the weekends (which is a good sign) as it's got great food. Trust me when I say it is well worth the wait! Support local and check it out.

From our first visit we felt welcome like a member of the family. the servers are world class. The coffee is smooth and tasty. The atmosphere is delightful. That leaves the food. Words cannot accurately describe the freshness creativity, presentation, and flavor. You just have to experience it for yourself which is exactly what you should do. Simply the best in every category hands down. Try the Hashes...best poached egg ever.

Corner restaurant is my absolute favorite breakfast spot in KC. They have hands down the best biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had, even better than my Mom’s. I love that they have stone ground grits. My boyfriend always gets something sweet. Their service is always fantastic. Just a nice neighborhood/local vibe.

BEST. BRUNCH. IN. KANSAS CITY. Period. This place won't disappoint. If you're searching for a great place, fun atmosphere, not to mention - women owned. Might I recommend the mimosa bar.

One of my favorite brunch places in KC! They always have a seasonal menu, so there are always new options to try out. Wait can be long during the weekends, but it is worth it.

This is one of my favorite breakfast spots. Delicious takes on plenty of classics, and fun creative originals on the menu. I love their extensive drink options, particularly the tea is nice to share with the table. The cinnamon roll croissant is my absolute favorite pastry. I am very specifically an eggs benedict person, but have tried other options and am never disappointed. They can be pretty busy, but the servers are always pleasant and it is worth the wait. My brothers are also very fond of their burger.

had breakfast here with friends two days in a row while visiting for a much needed break from the chaos. these were massive pancakes. two and i was full. the pecans were nicely spiced. i cant really describe it... i think some combination of things like cloves, ginger, cinnamon, can't really say for sure but it was good. and the wine poached pears were a nice touch too day 2, no photos, but i had a scramble with roasted tomatoes, mushrooms, and goat cheese definitely recommended as a breakfast place in westport and near country club plaza

First time trying this place and it's officially going on the rotation of restaurants we go to in Kansas City! That can't be said for very many restaurants, so that's high praise for us. I just love to try new breakfast places so it's hard to lock this down. The service was excellent and the coffee was delicious and always full. We got the scramble and picked our own toppings. The potatoes were the best ever made and it was all perfect.

This was our second time here. I remember really liking this place when we were in town for a concert at Uptown Theatre last year. We sat outside and the food and service were good. We came to town again for a night for a comedy show at Uptown Theatre so I suggested we hit up The Corner Restaurant again on our way out of town. It was a Friday morning around 9:30, so no wait. We sat inside this time because it's winter, and even inside you could hear the construction going on across the street...which is unfortunate for this establishment. The service was good again, and the food was pretty good too. The eggs were a little bland and bacon was a little chewy for my taste, but overall I was satisfied with my meal.
