We love the High Dive! Sadly, we hadn't been in a few years, so remedied that yesterday! Went for lunch. I had the pretzels and he had a meatloaf sandwich. Everything was good, bartender was great. Definitely recommend!

Hi-Dive Bar and Grill in KCMO is a must-try for a casual lunch! The chicken fried chicken is legendary! Their meatloaf is has massive serving of pure comfort food. It comes with crispy bacon, savory green beans, and creamy mashed potatoes. We couldn't resist trying their homemade chips with a perfect blend of seasonings - a fantastic side! Our son loved the Asian wings.
The fries were also a hit, and the prices are incredibly reasonable. It's a classic dive bar with a cool vibe, but don't let the atmosphere fool you - the food is top-notch. Fair warning: the meatloaf is so hearty, we had to share and still felt stuffed! Highly recommend grabbing lunch to go and enjoying it at work or home!
I love a lot of the restaurants on 39th,but hadn't been here. I was in on a Wednesday afternoon and it was great. Not too many people, but service was quick and attentive, my tenderloin was tasty, and my bestie's burger looked amazing. Both the chips and fries were awesome. I'll be back!
Parking: Depends on the time of day if you can find street parking or not. Parking on side roads is nbd
