Walked around for 20 minutes trying to find the entrance. Is this place closed? There's no signage, and the phone number goes nowhere, but the website is still up.

My pallet is just not pleased.I feel it was overpriced and overrated.

Food was so delish. Looking forward to a return visit. This place has a nice feel to it.

The hostess was an absolute gem. It was super-busy, but she remained calm, gracious and helpful the entire time we were there. (Our table was near the reception desk, so I could see her while we dined.) I had worn snow boots because of the weather, and she kindly let me stash them under the table in the waiting area so I could change into my dress shoes. She was welcoming to us and all who arrived, no matter how many folks showed up.

We reserved seats for dinner here on a Friday night, we were seated outdoors. Cool fire pit to keep you warm in the cooler nights. We order lots of items to share at the table...Beets, mushrooms, brussel sprouts, mac n cheese, cheese and meat plate and smoked salmon. Loved it all! And the signature drinks can be served in flasks if you’d like more than one drink. Cool option.

Patio looks really great but unfortunately I went on a day it was rainy. Bottomless mimosas mixed in with the best chicken in waffles I have ever had (a bite of my friends), nothing but great things to say. I got the Asian salad thing - would recommend! You will not leave disappointed.

My friend and I went for the first time for Brunch Sunday morning, what a hidden Gem!!!! Not many places in KC with bottomless Mimosas! Note: when you ask for the tab, the bottomless drinks stop, so hold off on asking for the ticket til you are done drinking. I got the SMOTHERED CHICKEN & GUODA SKILLET. Soooooooooo delicious!!! I'm still thinking about it 5 days later. They also have a different themed buffet option every Sunday, pretty neat! Can't wait to go again!

This was a pretty unpleasant dining experience. There was a group of 8 of us and our dining took about 3.5 hours. Pros, the Hemingway is a delicious beverage to enjoy. That's about it. We not only waited 40 minutes for our appetizer, but we also waited over an hour for our main dishes. Not to mention the forgotten drink orders. I completely understand the cost of an upscale dining experience, but to charge someone $30 for a 3oz salmon filet with a sprinkle of salad greens is ridiculous for Kansas City. I found it odd that I had a piping hot plate for my dish but my pasta and 2 meatballs were ice cold. I won't be coming back to this establishment. Best of luck to those who do.

For the last couple of years, my friend and I have been talking about trying The Jacobson, but we usually end up trying someplace else that had slightly better reviews. Almost as a chore, for my friend's birthday, he settled on The Jacobson and we are both very happy that he did. We had a great experience. We started off with the baked shrimp and king crab dip that we both really enjoyed. I had the Jacobson burger which I can only describe as the best burger you will want to eat when drunk. I wasn't, so you don't have to be, but do yourself a favor and get a beer to go with it. I also appreciated the gluten free options so I plan on taking my wife. I'm looking forward to going back and trying their fried chicken that they were sold out of (yes, that kind of restaurant that makes fresh food).

My favorite brunch spot in KC! The bottomless deal is just too good to pass up! $15 for 4 hours of mimosas, bloody marys, and bellinis on the weekends AND you can mix and match. The service is excellent to facilitate the bottomless package. A load of great food options but I love the Chicken and Waffles. The balance of sweet and savory, soft and crunchy, and sugary and spicy is immaculate. If you're looking to have a long brunch with friends, this is your spot!

Excellent service and an eclectic selectionof choices. I had the marinated olives as an app and meatballs and pasta for the entree. Service was a little slow bit admittedly they were slammed when I came.

Never again! I messaged the Jacobson before Valentine's Day to confirm that they would be having "Mingle Hour" and their weekly specials since Valentine's Day was on a Friday. They said absolutely it was, throughout the entire restaurant all day. Here's a picture of the conversation: I asked my server about the daily specials and my server said there were no specials. I told him I reached out ahead of time to ask and he said he didn't care. I asked him to just humor me and see the conversation I had, he told no and walked away. I've never experienced worse service. He was the rudest server I've ever had. I thought about speaking to a manager, not even about the specials, but just the attitude of the waitstaff, but honestly it wasn't worth it. I am never going back. The food was ok but very overpriced. I got the nashville chicken. It was very crispy but very very bland. It tasted like they just mixed oil and cayenne and called it nashville without anything else. I do have to say though that the potato salad was awesome. My wife went with the burger. The flavors were very good, but it fell apart before she could eat it as it was very very soggy.

The Jacobson has some good specials worth checking out. I really enjoyed the "$5" burger (which turns into much more than 5 after upgrades/side but it's still a good deal). I tried the dessert (dutch oven apple pie) and it was nice. Looking forward to trying more specials.

I am not one to do reviews but to say I’m disgusted by the service we have now received on two separate occasions at this facility is putting it mildly.
