Cute place. Baked goods are on the expensive side for gluten free items but the cake I got was phenomenal! I had gluten free strawberry with cream cheese icing.

Cute Bakery with a full GF-Vegan Menu
This Bakery is the perfect place for gluten-free vegans. Their entire menu from sandwiches to cupcakes to drinks are all gluten free and vegan! I stopped by to grab a sweet treat after lunch.
I tried their orange cardamom chocolate cupcake and a Mushroom Golden Chai. Both items were wonderfully warm with rich spices. Orange and Chocolate are a perfect match which the cardamom really enhanced. I particularly thought the orange icing was a standout. The cake was moist and not super crumbly. The cake didn’t fall apart as soon as I was biting into it.
The Golden Chai was really flavorful and went really with the oat milk. It paired very nicely with the cupcake.
I would definitely come back to try their brunch menu.
Though be warned, parking is very limited as it is street parking only. They do not advise to park in the parking lot next to their building.

The lemon/raspberry cupcake I had was GF/vegan—I require neither but my son is celiac. I wish I had bought a dozen for just myself. This is a moist cupcake with great lemon flavor, and I have no idea how they made such amazing vegan buttercream. The owner told me they are a highly symptomatic celiac so the space is strictly GF. I would go back in a second. For three treats and two bottles of water, I only spent $17.
Full disclosure, I don’t eat strictly vegan or gluten-free but I have so many food allergies and sensitivities I probably should. I love this place bc my stomach never hurts after eating their delish food. I’d say my fav for when I’m super hungry is their Mushroom Biscuits and Gravy. If I’m not super hungry, my next fav is the NY Deli sandwich. I love their new quinoa bowls tho so that has been my latest order. Monster Style Burger is also delish.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’M FURIOUS. This place? ABSOLUTELY INFURIATING. Every time I walk in, I’m instantly thrown into a full-blown existential crisis. Why? BECAUSE EVERYTHING IS TOO GOOD. How am I supposed to choose what to eat when literally everything is amazing?! There’s always something new—every single visit is a delicious surprise! But then, BAM! My favorite go-to is right there on the menu too, staring at me like, “Remember me?” YES I REMEMBER YOU, YOU PERFECT MEAL. LET ME LIVE. Also, how dare you accommodate my gluten-free, vegetarian/vegan needs so flawlessly? I came here to struggle. But instead, I get OPTIONS. Like, plural. MULTIPLE. I didn’t even know so many gluten-free options could taste like joy and sunshine! And the staff? DON’T GET ME STARTED. Too friendly. Too helpful. Too cheerful. What are they hiding? (Probably more excellent food.) I’ve now been here so many times they know my weaknesses. Honestly, if you’re looking for a chaotic blend of delight, satisfaction, and a menu that will lovingly destroy your decision-making skills, THIS is the place to be. Will I be back? Of course. Am I still mad? Absolutely. Do I love this place more than I should? 1000%. #friendliestpeople #vegan #love #somanychoices #sendhelp
I ordered the littlest big brunch with the biscuits and gravy option. The sausage, potatoes, and tofu scramble were so salty, I could not eat them. The scramble did not have a good flavor. The biscuit and gravy were ok. I gave a second star because my partner got burger and his wasn’t bad. I was so disappointed because this place had been on my list to visit since moving to KC. Overall, the breakfast items were a bust to me, so I didn’t go back for the pastries as originally planned. Will not return. Updated from previous review on 2025-06-22
They had such a wonderful breakfast, got Bs & Gs!
I eat here at least once a week and a big bonus is that it is walking distance from my house. The staff has a great energy and I love hearing laughter and conversation in the kitchen as well as from the guests. The food is amazing!! There are my go-to items that are always on the menu like the BLT, but Iris and her staff come up with specials each week like pizza, soups, and seasonal offerings. The baked goods are scrumptious!! My favorites are the brownies, cinnamon rolls, and the chocolate cupcake with blackberry frosting. Everything is made in-house and with love. Iris remembers the preferences and allergies of her regular customers and that is super impressive to me. I feel really special when I go in and I leave with a full happy tummy and heart.

Very friendly staff. Atmosphere is nice. The food is all gluten free and allergen free. Delicious desserts and entrees #Veganuary
Unfortunately, this bakery discriminates against people who believe that men should not be able to self ID into women’s single sex spaces and sports.
Went with people from local FB group. I'm actually not vegan and can eat gluten. I still thought food was great. Highlight was the cinnamon roll!

Delicious gluten free biscuits and gravy that I dream about. It’s a bit pricy, but worth the visit if you need a GF option for breakfast or lunch.
