I absolutely love this drive thru. Chelsea, Jada, Olivia, and Chuck are the friendliest staff and caring! My fiancé and I are regulars that frequent weekly several times. On crap days, I will go grab a coffee just to see their friendly faces. I do wish that this location stayed on top of supplies though....had a rough go with lack of honey and cups a while ago.
Best coffee in KC and good service. I don’t think the drive through folks should just blatantly ask for a tip each time you drive through, however. Always glad to tip, but maybe have an iPad you can flip around for tips like most places. This is more professional and doesn’t guilt trip your customers into tipping. Just my two cents. Regardless, I’ll be back!
Took a chance and went far out of the way to drive thru at the home of The Roasterie. The coffee is always great from there, but getting in and out of there wasn't fun. The prices were the highest I've ever paid for an iced coffee. Two coffees, with an extra shot $22. Are you kidding me?First and last trip. I'll order from the website from now on.
I have always loved coming here for an iced latte when I visit downtown, the coffee is awesome and the service is great, but I just bought a large iced latte that was over $8 without tip. 🤯 How can you justify that price point?
This day was similar to my past experiences when going inside. Living in a loft it’s nice to come here to relax on your iPad in peace.
Today marked the last day I’ll come to the Roasterie but will continue to purchase the coffee online. There’s just too much color, I’m not sure what happened but it’s all fruitloops that work here except the drive thru. I’m all for being who you want to be but unfortunately once you accept this gay ideology you make your business and company name a target. Be who you want to be but leave the names and stupid colorful flag out of it. I’m absolutely disheartened and beyond furious. Bunch of idiots at the top, what a joke.
Blackberry Micha was awesome!
Excellent
The Roasterie is hands down the best coffee company in Kansas City! Their commitment to air-roasted coffee makes a huge difference in flavor—smooth, bold, and never bitter. Whether you’re grabbing a fresh cup at one of their cafés or picking up a bag of beans to brew at home, you can always count on top-notch quality. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do, making every visit a great experience. If you’re a coffee lover, The Roasterie is a must-visit. Highly recommend!
The breakfast burrito was delicious. Love the variety of drinks.
A great drive through for coffee. Lots of very nice choices too. The food offered is really fresh and tastes great.

I went to this place today November 15, 2024
I have gone to many of the other places around town, but this specifically that is a drive thru I don’t recommend it, coffee was warm not even hot, asked for extra shot of espresso and it didn’t even taste like it had one, paid 20.00 for 2 coffees and at other Roasterie I paid about 16.00
Not worth it…….

Honestly, if the coffee was horrible, the customer service would absolutely make up for it. The employees are wonderful. They always ask for a tip in the drive thru, and honestly, if I had the money, I would every time and I feel bad every time I don't. Nevertheless, I wanted to write this review to say thank you! (PS: Thankfully, the coffee is also really good!)

I was very excited to try this place. The reviews made it seem like a viable option. However, I wish that I would have gone with my other option. To start, the prices were outrageous. I could have gone to a nice dine in restaurant for breakfast and had a better, more affordable experience. I got two drinks and two breakfast options. It was $35 before a tip. I got a black bean burrito, and it was lackluster, I could barely finish it. The burrito tasted like they used sliced american processed cheese. Overall, it tasted cheap. Then my husband got the chicken biscut and felt nauseated immediately after eating and is now in bed with a sick stomach. This was the only thing he was able to eat today, so the biscut is presumably the culprit. I am just thankful that my kids didn't want anything from here. I am not sure what went wrong here, but in such a big city, I think there are much better options.
