We ate on the second floor in a cozy booth. The atmosphere was great and the food fantastic. Our server checked in on us, but wasn't pushy. We had calamari, steak frites, and seafood tortellini. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Also had a few drinks that were very well made. I definitely recommend to make a reservation!

Love the vibe here! We took a shot at trying a new place, on short notice, with good reviews. Day-of reservation. They were busy, and I see why. I got a reservation through the Open Table app, and while it was for an hour later than we wanted (a best case scenario), we went ahead and grabbed it, based on the reviews. The upstairs was the only thing available at the time of reservation. How serendipitous! Once we arrived, we realized we would have chosen the upstairs to begin with, had we known what this place had to offer. Now, just so you know, the downstairs is awesome, too! Here's the kicker- they have different vibes, colors, themes, and even mood music for either floor. Wow! This is super cool. Familes seem to be situated better downstairs on the main floor with more room, lighter colors, faster pace, crisp music, and higher energy. The upstairs is exactly that- a walk up a couple flights of stairs ( I didn't see a patron elevator anywhere), so be aware. If you are looking for a couples environment, or a couple friends, slower (fast service still), darkerker colors (hunter green fabrics, mahogany wood), moodier/chill music, and great upper floor window views- this is your spot! They have their own bar upstairs also, so no delay in delicious drink arrivals! I had the apple martini, and my sweetie had their version of an Old Fashioned (with a twist of Rockhill flair). Fantastic! Will drive from StL, with a reservation on the books for this restaurant while planning to be KC.

A welcome refuge from a hot summer evening in KC. I began the meal with the Gentleman and Tonic, a sofer and floral take on the classic G&T. The appetizer was the crab rangoon dip, a silky smooth substance that I could eat plain with a spoon. The gyoza chips are good with it too. The star of the evening was the seafood tortellini - you don't often get whole scallops with a pasta dish, but here we are. Would absolutely return.
