Mazzy was amazing! Super busy and very attentive. The house lager is fire! All the food was incredible, fried greens beans, shrimp, sausage, gumbo, spicy chicken sandwich, everything was delicious!

Lil hole in the wall and had Good atmosphere. Ppl there are friendly and good food!
We had a really disappointing experience here. I've heard awesome things about the food, and it seems to be a popular spot but tonight must not have been it. We came in to get some food and were greeted by someone manning the door. We had to purchase tickets, apparently there was a show going on. Not a problem, dinner and a show didn't sound bad. We looked around at the cool atmosphere, and chose to sit at the bar. It would have been nice to try the food, but we sat there for quite some time, never once being attended to by staff who were more than willing to help anyone but us. We even had to ask people near us to see the menu, as no one gave us even a glance. We tried to gain the staffs attention, but ended up leaving. Drove 4 minutes away to the Peanut and are now happily eating.

The Ship makes KC a little brighter just by existing. Beyond the great drinks, it's also a fantastic community-focused space that hosts so many cool local bands, events, and themed nights (check out their live country dance nights!). There's always something fun happening here.
To top it all off, you can get a great dinner at a reasonable price. What more could you want?
