Very busy but short wait times. All the food was excellent. We tried new foods and drinks nightly as we were in town several days. Everything was top notch and was a good fit to to the standard of the Lowe’s hotel.Vegetarian options: There were several options through out the menu

I stopped in with coworkers at Bar Stilwell a few weeks ago for a happy hour drink. I spent less than 15 on one drink and left a 5 dollar tip to Roberto. When I checked my bank account, I noticed an additional 10 dollars was added. I called the bar twice and was told I would be refunded and I still have not received a refund. This is not acceptable. I wanted to try the restaurant and even stay for a weekend at the hotel, but I will not be back. Make sure and watch your account, to see if your settled amount is correct after tipping.

Dinner at Stilwell was great, it was a nice ambiance, despite the hotel being super crowded with tournament guest and limited parking. Shortly after leaving Stilwell me and my husband decide to take a few pictures as we were celebrating my birthday. We have been to this hotel over 7 times in the last year. While we were taking pictures we were met with two security guards (white male, and black female) which is something we have never ran into at any point last year while visiting. That told us kind aggressively we could not take pictures (which is something we have always done throughout the hotel rather we were in the lobby or lounge area) and that we needed to leave the hotel. My husband then said to the lady you are asking us to leave the hotel when we just spent money here and she said yes and proceeds to try to walk us out. While walking out the other male security guard stated that he didn't mind that we were taking pictures and that the lady was just having a bad day. While I understand everyone has a bad day, we should not have been asked to leave for taking pictures and trying to capture a beautiful moment and memory. The hotel was filed with other families dining eating outside food etc, and they were not approached. Me and my guest spent over $400 dining in Stilwell, and this experience has completely changed the outlook of future plans to stay or dine.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I recently dined at The Stilwell restaurant and had an absolutely delightful experience! The Old Fashioned cocktail was expertly crafted, setting the perfect tone for the evening. Although the bread accompanying the goat cheese had a slight burn taste, the crab cake more than made up for it with its impeccable flavor and texture. And let’s talk about the roasted chicken—it exceeded all expectations, delivering a mouthwatering and satisfying dish that left me thoroughly impressed. I can’t wait to return for another extraordinary dining experience at The Stilwell!

We're locals to the KC area and needed food after getting in late to the hotel. We hadn't tried the restaurant before, so figured we'd give it a try.Out of the four of us (ranging in age from 18-51) no one could find anything on the menu that sounded good; it was all very stuffy food choices (duck, goat cheese, etc). We noticed someone else at a table eating a normal cheeseburger and begged them to tell us their secrets, which I'll share with you: Get a BAR menu. It actually has extra "more normal" options, like wings and hamburgers. We ordered from the bar menu instead and the food was excellent.

WOW! This was our first stop of Restaurant Week 2024 and to be honest it set the bar way too high. I was so excited to try this menu and it definitely lived up to my expectations. We were terrified to try beef tartare but it was actually delicious! The scallops were perfectly cooked, so tender and flavorful. I wish the gnocchi had a bit more flavor. We added on the fermented potato bread because it was intriguing. I didn't get much of a fermented flavor, but oh my god the butter was incredible! I had to slather a half inch on my toast it was that good. Glad that's on the regular menu! Dessert was also super innovative - the beet cake was really delicious and I'm not really a beet lover! Service was great and on top of it. Overall this was a 10/10 experience and exactly the kind of fun dishes I love to try during Restaurant Week. Cant wait to see what they have for next year!

The Stilwell is located inside of Loews Hotel, which is a beautiful Hotel. My friends and I had made Reservations here for Restaurant Week. We wanted to try something different. We were greeted at the Hostess Stand and were seated quickly. Our Server greeted us fairly quickly and took our drink orders. We had some questions regarding the menu which she was very knowledgeable about. I chose to order the potato bread for us which was really good. The 1st course was the Amuse Bouche which was unique! For my 2nd Course I ordered mole negro which was delicious but very spicy, I probably drank 5 glasses of water during that course. My friend ordered the same and she couldn't even finish it because it was too spicy for her. My 3rd course I went with the Diver Scallops which were good. For the last course-dessert I went with the White Chocolate Bread Pudding which was good but very rich, I could not finish it. The other two ordered the pastrami short ribs with cabbage and it was delicious as well. We all 3 enjoyed our meal. Our Server checked in on us a few times, I did have to ask another person for more water during the meal. There was a lot going on in the Hotel Lobby and bar area. The KC Chiefs played that night so the Bar/lounge area was packed, there must have been something else going on(kids sports)as there were people coming down the escalators to the lobby/lounge area. I'm not sure if our Server had tables out in the bar/lounge area or if she had to go out to the bar to get drinks for guests in the Restaurant. Over all we enjoyed trying out The Stilwell but may have chosen a different restaurant since as I said there was so much going on inside of Loews.

THE STILLWELL IS AMAZING! Not only top notch food but their service is fantastic. During my stay at LOEWS we had dinner here and then went back the next morning for their gourmet breakfast buffet. I highly recommend them

Food was great and our server was really nice. Good ambiance with a great view of downtown. Would definitely recommend! Gives a slight hotel feel as it is attached but it is enough out of the way it still feels like a solo restaurant

The ambiance is everything. It's giving classy chic. The views of the city and stunning. I got the salmon, with broccolini and capers. It was good. Went there with a group to celebrate a bday and everyone loved the goat cheese app!

Restaurant and bar located on the bottom level of Lowe Hotel. We stopped here for drinks while in downtown area. Beautiful liquor bottle display above the bar. Lounge style seating around the bar area. Restaurant to the right. More seating around the lobby area even more private seating with fireplace. Service was great.
