Great dining experience! We sat at the chef’s counter and it was so cool to sit in front of the fire and watch all the food being made. The waitress was friendly and professional and made some great recommendations. She recommended 5-6 plates for the two of us. I highly recommend starting with the Clara Bow rolls. They are as good as everyone says they are. The croquettes and the bone marrow were also two of our favorites, but every dish was amazing and well presented. Overall, we may have found a new favorite restaurant in KC. Can’t wait to go back. Be sure to makes reservations as the place was quite busy. Also, check out the hotel bar if you have some time before or after.Update: We’ve been back several times now. You can’t go wrong here. Everything is amazing! Highly recommend!

I booked a reservation for Town Company for my wife and I after having heard many good things from friends and online and was especially excited to try it after hearing about recent James Beard noms. All of the things we heard translated well, and we feel like we have a new favorite restaurant for a special evening.Our experience was truly special - the staff went above and beyond to make us feel warm and invited, from the hostess, to wait staff, and even a chat with the pastry chef. The food was well prepared, delicious, and thought provoking. The drinks were equally delicious, and prices on wine bottles accessible and paired super well with our dishes.We can’t wait to go back for more!

Other than wishing the duck portion was larger, everything was fantastic.
We sat at the chefs counter which was a lot of fun. There was a nice warmth coming off the hearth and the chef preparing food in front of us checked in to see how we were enjoying ourselves. The drinks and food were amazing. The cocktail ‘La repose’ and the espresso martinis are a must! The lobster toast was delicious! We had the strip and duck for entrees are both were cooked to perfection The tropical cheesecake was delicious. We will be back!

Took my wife to The Town Company for her birthday and were blown away by the service! Not only was the food delicious, but the atmosphere was extremely cozy. The staff even surprised my wife with a birthday desert and took extra steps to ensure her day was treated with special care. She and I will be returning!
