Randomly walked by Friday night looked it up thought let's give it a try. Totally packed no reservations and they worked us in within 20 minutes at the bar and what an unbelievable surprise. Everyone was happy, friendly, and full of recommendations. The drinks were absolutely perfect and the food was next level good. This place is our new go to in KC. Go Now and do not WAIT

We finally visited for lunch. It was everything we hoped for. We each had a Dirty Martini, I tried the spaghetti and meatballs, and my wife had the Italian Beef sandwich with the house made chips.
The spaghetti sauce was a little sweet like Sugo but balanced with a little spice, and the meatballs were a perfect balance of spice and salty to balance the sweetness of the sauce. It was excellent. The Itialan beef was very good, but the housemade chips were a show stealer. Don't sleep on those, especially with the dip they give you. The atmosphere is darker and relaxing. Matched with good music and even TVs to watch a little sports while you're there.
Nice place. Wine list is not extensive but they make some good drinks as well. They should add Hugo spritz to an Italian drink menu it would sell good.
Pizza was ok. Meatballs ok. I just had a salad so can’t comment on the pasta.

Great lunch at this Italian spot in the Crossroads District. They've been open since April and their menu is packed with appealing options. We started with the garlic knots appetizer, suggested by our server Gene. Delicious little bread bites with a tasty marinara. They have a lunch option that pairs a 1/4 pizza with your choice of pasta salad, caprese or Caesar salad for $15. Great deal. We both chose this option and both got the multi-meat Wise Guy House Special pizza and pasta salad (which was chock full of cheese cubes and roasted tomatoes with a roasted garlic vinaigrette).

First time going here, and it was fantastic! Love the atmosphere, and all of the food and cocktails we had were great. I’ll definitely have to try the pizza next time, but the chicken parmesan with the rigatoni alla vodka and garlic knots were totally worth it!
