This place does everything we vegans can ask for from a restaurant that also serves meat. They have many, varied and creative options (including hibiscus, a yummy soyrizo/potato, and a tasty al pastor) to give us actual choices and they are sensitive to our needs. Too often we are made to feel like lesser than or an inconvenient obligation instead of what we should be made to feel like: valued customers. Tomatillo gets that and you can tell it right away. And yes, the food is delicious. Like an upscale/more authentic version of Chipotle, but with a cilantro rice and refried beans option that we can actually eat! But, more importantly, the family that runs this establishment does it the right way. From the heart and with all the little touches that separate a corporate entity from a unique, family-run restaurant. Please join me in rewarding that! It’s getting harder and harder to find and it really matters.

Great option on the hill! Reasonable prices and yummy food. Staff was also very nice. I liked the al pastor😄

This place is a gem! As a vegan, it's always a win to find a spot with multiple options, and they absolutely deliver. Their vegan burritos and bowls are flavorful and satisfying, and the rice and beans are vegan-friendly too. Everything I tried was delicious, and the prices are super reasonable. If you're plant-based or just looking for a tasty meal, don't skip this place—it’s totally worth it!

This place is a hidden gem and it’s never busy, which I don’t understand. I usually always get the fried chicken because it is AMAZING!! Today I branched out and got a burrito… also AMAZING. She stuffed it so full she could barely wrap it up. The freshness of the pico stood out and their salsa verde is delicious. Also, their fried okra, mushrooms, and stuffed peppers are on point!

Close to my office so gave it a try. I got chicken tenders. Chicken was hot and cooked perfectly, juicy. Portions were generous, service was good, restaurant was clean and bright.

I stopped in yesterday for a quick bite, first time in. I saw some fried chicken tenders and fish so ordered 2 of each. She rang me up and was almost 14 bux. Thought it would be much cheaper. Wish I got a burrito instead.

Just needed a quick lunch so got the burger and fries. Good lord the burger was massive, and juicy, and hot, and very tasty. Very, very good! Will be back to try other foods there.
