Not open at 8:50 on 12/16. Google's hours need to be updated. Great beer and food though.
Phenomenal brewery with creative and quality beers. Awesome food options located in the brewery as well! Cool indoor and outdoor seating. Decent amounts of parking. Unassuming looking from the outside but absolute awesome beer and food scene on the inside.
The salsa macha fries from the adjacent restaurant is a food item I think about often.
First visit to Torn Label and was absolutely blown away. Everything about this place is top-tier.
First, the staff is simply excellent! Friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely excited about their beer, and facility. Even let us see the brewery. It makes the whole experience feel welcoming and fun.
The beer selection is diverse and high-quality.
But the food was the legit amazing surprise! Torn Label's kitchen is operating at a high level. It's truly a scratch kitchen experience that elevates the entire visit.
Look… I consider myself to have high standards when it comes to tacos.
I’m originally from the border of Mexico. I lived there for the first 20+ years of my life.
I moved to Kansas City in 2018 and there was a taco sized hole in my heart. Nothing was quite right.
Sure, there were a few good options down southwest boulevard. But I winced every time someone whose complexion matched the color of horchata that I so dearly longed for, used the word “authentic” to describe a restaurant that served tomato paste and called it “salsa”.
The first time I was introduced to Tacos Valentina was at Fern Bar on the last day they served their brunch menu. Their breakfast cronch wrap transported me to the days of popping into Mexico for Sunday afternoon lunch. I nearly cried knowing it was the end of their menu.
(I might have actually cried when I was brought a sample of horchata that was soon to be added to the menu. It was perfect. Just like home. Something I had yet to find everywhere else I tried.)
But when I found out that these glorious cronch wraps hailed from a few blocks away, my joy was restored.
Tacos Valentina has been incredible every single time I’ve gone.
Highly recommend.
Please go.

10/10, every time.
I love the chill environment and Samantha was an awesome beertender! The House Brew coffee stout was so good! I'll definitely come back when visiting KC again.
Very nice beers and frozen margaritas!
And the chips and dips were great!
Will come back soon. And thank you for the recommendation to Barco Primo!!
Great beer to go along with some awesome food.
Outstanding food, beer is well done, great vibes.

I don't usually leave reviews, but the DJ here tonight is so bad I'm wondering when John Quinones is going to come out & ask why nobody is intervening. Crappy sound system & way too loud. Nobody goes to a pub to be bombarded with this nonsense.
Service was also really bad. The kind of place where the post-hipster can't be bothered attitude just kills the vibe. Unfortunately you tip & pay when you order, otherwise I definitely wouldn't have tipped them and I probably would have just left instead of waiting 45 MINUTES for my 3 tacos while listening to shit music that's clipping. Pretty much a clown show. I remember when they just served beer out back & someone streamed music from their phone. It was a way better experience then.
Great beer and food. Will definitely stop the next time we are in KC for a visit.
Went once a few years ago with a friend. Ran into Tony Gonzalez. Beer was good. Will return sometime again.
Happy 10th year anniversary Torn Label! They continue to deliver excellent customer service, craft beer, and food with Tacos Valentina. Shout out to ALL the bar staff for their service. Y'all kick butt. Don't change! Thank you, Jordan, for guiding me and my friend to the OG taproom. Keep it metal, and don't change 🍻🤘😎🤘
Creepy vibe. Food is meh. Beer is crap.
