I enjoyed the lemon-lime spritzer. Got the meat loaf slider but it had mushrooms on it. The don't like mushrooms and it was not advertised on the menu. My flatbread pizza was good. I support everything on the Plaza.
I really wanted to like this place but the food just wasn't up to par. Boring chicken tenders. Lukewarm soup in a very small cup with no accompanying bread or crackers. Sourdough crust that didn't taste like sourdough. Service was fair. Free parking in the nearby parking garage. Just...meh.
Wonderful food and great service. We eat there quite often and have always had great service. Maybe time to reupholster some of the beautiful green Booths. Great restaurant and I would advise anyone to go there.
The food came out promptly and was very tasty! The service was outstanding. Our server was so incredibly friendly and helpful and attentive. Can't wait to go back!!
Their allergy friendly menus are perfect for any visitor to feel comfortable in their meals. So delicious!
Very overpriced with poor ambiance. The server made errors that were carried through to our bill (brought entrée with incorrect side, was charged for requested correct side). Food was ok, several items were "out of stock", including the buffalo sauce for a buffalo chicken appetizer. Yet, the appetizer was later provided with the sauce, with the explanation that "the chef had time to make more". That's impressive that your chef made the time to make food that was ordered.
We had a party of 10 for an early dinner: 1 vegetarian, 1 allergic to gluten, dairy & eggs, 1 diabetic, 4 on other diets. 1 wants high protein, ie not vegetarian; 1 can't navigate buffets; most are picky; several dislike noise; few cuisines are enjoyed by all 10...so there aren't many restaurants we all truly enjoy. TFK is definitely one! Menu had many options appealing to each of us, is labeled for dietary restrictions & calories; the only hard part was choosing! We tried an array of starters, entrees, desserts, & drinks with & w/o alcohol, sharing bites & sips so we each had an extensive sampling. Everything earned rave reviews from even our foodies and other pickiest family, for the extra flavorful, fresh, “clean” ingredients and appealing recipes. 1 felt their salad was the best they've had in a restaurant, even upscale ones in top produce-growing regions: FL to CA to tropical Latin America. There were few desserts; each was GF w/a vegan option, but we all had our sweet tooth satiated. Our allergic guest was thrilled since she can rarely eat enjoyable desserts at restaurants, & she wasn't tempted to eat food that makes her ill. We didn't notice any 2nd-string staff despite a Sunday eve. Items were prepared and served promptly. Our excellent server Hazel easily handled our custom requests & Q's including finding answers to the few she didn't know, & always appeared right when we needed her w/o hovering or awkwardly interrupting, not easy with a large group. Highest quality, healthy, sustainably & humanely-raised food by definition costs above average, so their prices are quite fair. Most dinner entrees were $20-30, bar drinks $6-18 but much less at happy hour, along with most starters. Portions run a bit small for the US, controlling price & calories. Free parking garage is just to the North. Likely noisier when busy. A restaurant of this concept can only improve when local produce is in season vs. our current end of winter, so we'll definitely return!
Update - They credited my meal since I posted this.
I ordered a delivered Chinese Chicken salad with utensils. It did arrive quicky with no utensils. The salad looked great on top but under a few small pieces of acacado and cilantro was 95% large slices of cabbage. There was not enough dressing or other items to make this salad worthy of this restaurant or it's reputation. I have eaten there before so this was a big dispointment!

First time! Had the Pot Roast Dip. It was hot and delicious. Bailey was our server and was excellent. Highly recommend!

I love going to true food. The atmosphere is a good vibe and the food is delicious and nutrient dense based on the season. Shoutout to our waiter Baleigh — she was such a generous presence! She was so eager to take care of every detail. She made great food recommendations too!

We were lucky enough to have India as our server the other day and she was so attentive and sweet! A group and friends and I were in the area and decided to stop in for some quick food that wasn't cheeseburgers and fries. She helped us navigate the menu, as first timers, and even answered all of my annoying questions with a smile. Good food is good, but it's the service that makes a place great. Since it was our first time there I wasn't sure what to expect, but thanks to India, I'll definitely be coming back.

Third or fourth time I've eaten here and the food has been consistently good. Today I had the Thai glass noodle dish. It was delicious.

I had a lovely lunch at True Food with some of my friends! The server was super friendly and I loved the bright light and plants all around. I was also super impressed with the food. We each tried a little bit of everyone’s food and it was all good! We will be back soon!
