U-Gene's Deli and Pizza

Any time that im in the area I always try to stop in. Their sandwiches are some of the best around and their pizza is top notch. Definitely give them a try, u wont regret it.

What a surprise! Stopped here for breakfast on my way to work. I wasn't expecting much from a pizza shop hooked to a gas station, but boy was I wrong!

Chatted w/ the owner for a minute. Guy worked the beef industry prior to opening and it shows in the product!

This has to be the most flavorful breakfast sandwich I've had since I moved to Missouri 4 years ago!

Priced cheap too! 10/10 will be back next time I'm in town!

Everytime and anytime I've visited this place the slices of pizza were old and dried out. Servers don't care and have a nonchalant attitude when you bring it to their attention and raise concern. Salads are sold with wilted lettuce and browning. They also sold me slimy watermelon that I returned. It's just ridiculous the amount of bad food that they sell. When I returned the watermelon I was told. Here is your money back, I don't care enough to worry about it, but the cashier. The place is okay to get gas from and the pizza is good when you order it ahead fresh. They used to have good ready to eat food, but that and the service has gone downhill.

Pizza was pretty good, with a decent amount of toppings. We had their Supreme and part of the crust was burnt...not very bad, but it was still burnt.

I had the Reuben and it was meh, at best. Bread was dry, not much cheese and the corned beef was barely average. The Reuben at Arbys is much better.

I also had pasta salad which was bland and had lots of cheap olive oil. It is conveniemt to the hotels near the airport, but there are better options out there.

Great pizza for a gas station. The atmosphere is what it is. A simple in and out pizza place. I highly recommend it.

Ordered the special of Italian steak sandwich. Wasn’t Italian steak like expected. It was a partially breaded hamburger shaped like a hoagie. Disgusting. I should have asked more questions. Only the 2nd time here. The pizza the first time was ok. Nothing special from a gas station pizza. Casey’s is by far better pizza. Will not be back for sandwiches. But hey they Lay’s potato chips were spot on and the Coke Zero hit the spot.

It’s in a gas station, it’s par for the course. They are very nice people but the location really hurts them. The food and service are as good as it can be situationally

It's ok. Pizza kinda resembles cardboard. I was not expecting a gas station deli either.

Food was ok. Couldn’t help but think that they should replace the pizza in the warming case that looks like it’s been out in the summer sun for 3 days. Just ate a sub from there. Just hoping I dont get food poisoning.

Recommended dishes: Cheese and Pepperoni Pizza

Pizza was terrible. Crust was floppy and tasted like cardboard. Sauce is basically ketchup. It's mostly cheese on the pizza. Crust doesn't actually rise it's just folded over at the end to look like normal pizza crust. Ordered a 16" pepperoni. Would not recommend to anyone who likes real pizza.
