While Chappel Roan was in town, they put up a huge pride flag. Which I was stoked about!! Then the flag was gone a couple days later
Why take down the flag as soon as the weekend is over? Makes it seem like it was purely to make more money.

Up-Down is a lot of fun. There is always SO many people and it’s always so loud. Drinks were reasonable/average. Coin prices were about what you expect. Kansas City would do well with another “barcade”.

Be prepared with cash and ID. Only go if you are with people or very extroverted. The space is small and can't be a bit of a cramp. It does get slightly crowded with a decent selection of old school games worth playing. The drink prices are slightly more expensive compared to the rest of the nation in the city area. The games are as cheap as we know and love from back in the day. I did not try the food.
