This far is so fun! Definitely a must see if you are staying downtown. They have great options for drinks. I had an NA quirk drink so they do have options for everyone. The games are so fun and retro. We had a blast here.

Super awesome hang-out place for a bit of fun. Games are cheap to play .25 cents,drinks are reasonably priced, and the staff was top-notch. Friendly and kept the place clean. Excellent.

Up-Down quickly became a KC classic. Everyone will find a game they enjoy and every game is only 25 cents (via tokens bought at the bar). The bar is expansive and the rooftop patio is a great place to enjoy the city views. If you're hungry you can grab a slice of pizza inside.

Up-Down is one of my favorite places in Kansas City, and it's by far the best "Barcade" that I've ever been to. Full bar, 80s/90s/00s arcade games (that all cost 1 token), pinball, Skee-ball, 4-player Super Nintendo, a great rooftop and a large patio area located in the Crossroads. All of the employees and bartenders are fantastic, they have great specials, and the best part- 21+ all day, every day so no having to dodge little ones when you're trying to do your Mortal Kombat "fatality" combo! It's an amazing place to spend an afternoon- particularly when the weather is nice and they have the windows open! They always have some 80s/90s movie on, they play good music and they have some pretty solid pizza if you need a snack. Honestly, I can't say anything negative about it.
