Today was my first time dining at Urban Restaurant. The food was amazing! Service was amazing! The atmosphere was great! It was clean and beautiful! I really enjoyed The Shrimp & Grits. I can’t wait to go back for more!

To say that the experience was not good, is an understatement apparently, one of the co-owners is very self-absorbed subhuman! She acted as if she was doing us a favor by allowing us to have coffee in her shop. What a turn off!

We had a great time on fathers day! Food was amazing the burger medium with eggs and bacon was one of the best burgers I ever had. It out beat Guy Fury's burger on the cruise which I think is the best! So I'm telling you now this would be the go too. It was a laid back cool vibe. Love the cold water on table. Kids had benedict eggs, breakfast hash, shrimp and grits, and banana pancakes. It was sooo god 5 stars!

Took my husband here for Father's Day. I absolutely loved the atmosphere and the great customer service from the employees upon entrance into the establishment. The reason for my rating of three stars is because our wait time to receive our food was a lot longer than we would have liked. We waited for an hour and a half for our food to get to the table but once it did arrive it tasted great. We were definitely not disappointed but, I definitely think they need to work on the serving time. I would absolutely give them another chance so, we will be back. Good Luck and many blessings to you all!

This new place on Troost apparently isn’t new at all, but they’re in a new space and… good for them, because it is beautiful, full of natural light. And it pulls off this really interesting thing: The restaurant looks and feels high-end, but also accessible. Can’t quite put my finger on it. Like some high end places feel so “Frou Frou” that I kind of feel a little snobby for being there, but I really feel like I could meet anybody for lunch here. I had the Urban Bowl (see photo) and it pretty much rocked. And it wasn’t any more expensive than like Applebee’s, but I didn’t come away feeling like I just dropped a bowling ball in my stomach. I hope I get to come back again soon.

Stopped in for breakfast and cocktails. My wife and I each had a Bloody Mary. The green Chile infused vodka used in the cocktail really sets it apart from others. The Bacon Cheddar omelette was fantastic with lots of cheese and bacon. The potatoes were done perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Overall really good experience dining in here. Loved the service and atmosphere!
