It was economic black out day, but I was craving a donut after work, so I made a call to this business on a whim after a Google search to confirm they were black owned. I'm so glad I made the 20 min trip to this bakery.
The staff were super friendly and I had the best cinnamon roll and cookies ever. I'm bummed I only ended up getting 2 cookies.
Both the cinnamon roll and cookies are fresh, huge, great tasting, and not sickeningly sweet. I never had such a balanced cinnamon roll before that let the cinnamon shine through properly without being super sweet.
Their baked goods are amazing. I will be back.

This place. Its better than Lamars and at a better price too. It's locally owned and a much loved piece of my family's breakfasts. The lore is that she even trained with Ray Lamar back in the day. Easy rec. - go here.

I saw someone gave this place a one star saying it’s ‘not a vibe’. I don’t know what they’re smoking but they got things upside down. This place is ALL the vibe and the sweet lady there, could she be Ms Vee? I think so… She’s lovely, she knows what’s up, and her food speaks for it.
This place has the best custard filled long johns in the whole kc metro and if you don’t get it, you just don’t. I haven’t had anything here that I didn’t like. Just coming here brightens my day.

My Reuben was so hot and loaded with meat😍delicious. The cookies are only $1.69 and they are big! Donuts are 🔥! Pleasant atmosphere and some groceries. Peanut butter cookies 🔥🔥🙌🏾🙌🏾. 🤭🤭🤭

I’m from Bronx New York and I’m not gonna lie my co worker got me lunch and this is the second time the sandwich here is amazing definitely recommend this place if you want everything fresh on your sandwich to the bread meat and lettuce pickles and tomatoes. Sorry I didn’t post the pictures it was to good I forgot to take one. Maybe next time.
