We just ate there for lunch and both of us are excited to recommend it to friends and family! The food was really amazing. We both had jerk chicken, cabbage, and plantains. All three were terrific. The service was so very friendly and accommodating! The atmosphere is quite creative and welcoming. Please give them your business!

You will definitely have second thoughts when you pull up to this restaurant. Why? Because it’s located within a string of shabby rundown looking store fronts. But look past the outside, and you will be glad you took a leap of faith. Wah Gwan’s eccentric decor is very relaxing and the music playing puts you in a good mood. The customer service is top notch, the waitress was super nice and engaging. I encourage everyone looking for a great Caribbean meal to come here.

This place is such a vibe. The food is scrumptious! I will definitely be going again next time I'm in KC. I ordered jerk chicken, curry goat with jollof rice and plantain. Then oxtail with rice and peas. So flavorful and generous portions.
