I had always wanted to try Nigerian egusi soup, and I'm not sure that any other restaurant in the KC area serves it. The woman behind the counter was kind enough to give me a sample before ordering a full meal of it: it had a nutty and creamy taste, with the earthiness of ground crayfish and some leafy green, as well as some unexpected spiciness. The goat meat was roughly chopped and absorbed the flavor nicely; previously I had only tasted goat in a biryani. I was less enthusiastic...

I absolutely love this place and will absolutely come back! It was my first time being here and everyone was helpful and friendly when explaining what everything was and what they recommended me to get. The place is amazingly decorated and has an amazing vibe and vibrant colors, I recommend this to everyone. The people that work here have a positive vibe and are absolutely hilarious which I love!

The food is absolutely killer. Curry goat was perfectly soft and spiced. Brown stew chicken was a standout. Beefpatty was also really nicely balanced. Jollof excellent.

Wonderful customer service, great atmosphere. Absolutely recommend eating here without hesitation.

Parking: Parking is located behind the business off Troost. Entry is south of the business.
