Waterbird was great! The staff was very welcoming and the drinks were really good. The location is in a cool spot downtown and the interior has a good amount of seating. I recommend the brown sugar, cinnamon latte - it was fire! 🔥

Very chill and relaxing vibes I would definitely visit again. My only recommendation is that they increase the temperature on the coffee It wasn't hot as it should be more like warm.

We walked about 10 minutes to get here because it was the highest-rated coffee spot nearby and it was absolutely worth the walk. The coffee was fantastic, the blueberry scones were delicious, and there were so many tempting options it was hard to choose just one.
A special shout-out to the barista who kindly remade my friend’s coffee after he accidentally spilled it — such great service and hospitality. We’re visiting from Indiana for a pickleball conference, and this was the perfect way to start the day in downtown KC. Highly recommend!

The coffee here is amazing and surprisingly cheap. The quality definitely overrides the price. This is some of the best coffee I've ever had. I tried multiple places for coffee in downtown Kansas City MO. This was absolutely the best.
