We visit Wing Cafe frequently — often multiple times a week — whether at the north location or the Broadway location. The food is consistently outstanding and always a highlight of our visits.
That said, there are some areas where the north location could improve. Order accuracy is a recurring issue, with items frequently missing or incorrect. Instead of verifying orders before handing them to customers, a sign is posted stating that all sales are final and that customers are responsible for errors. This policy feels misplaced, as accuracy should be ensured by the staff.
Additionally, the north location often has smaller but noticeable issues, such as no ice in the fountain machine, no soap in the bathroom, or no paper towels available. These are issues I have never experienced at the Broadway location, which runs much more smoothly.
Overall, I would rate them three stars. The food is excellent, but service consistency and attention to detail at the north location need improvement.

Great wings here!! I just stopped in for lunch with a colleague, and didn't want a lot, ordered an 8 peice boneless(I understand I will get hate for even calling these wings.. so I won't🫡)with Sweet Thai sauce. These were moist and tasted really good! I will be back to try another sauce!

Been going to Wings Cafe since I moved to KC. Hands down the BEST wings in the metro area, bar none. Fast service, friendly staff, and chicken so good it makes you wonder why you ever bothered going anywhere else.
Shout-out to my man Lee, he always takes care of us when we come by.

2nd time visit today. The guy behind the counter is awesome! Very knowledgeable aboukd the sauces, etc. Wings are always fantastic! Just two small things bug me. One, we went within an hour of opening and the water jar on the table was 90%empty. Just as it was our first visit much later in the day. So it makes me wonder of they take in down at close and clean it.....the other thing is a footstool in public view by the drink station. It is gross dirty!!!! I hope it's not a reflection of what we can't see in the kitchen. I'll be back though for great wings!

Kansas City is known barbecue however the fried fish game in KC is on point as well. I have had all of them, and this is the best in my opinion. Hot sauce not even needed.

Drove 40 minutes to try this and it was worth it: large size, a lot of meat, perfectly cooked, breading had a good crunch and flavor. We tried Voodoo, Golden BBQ, and Smoked Sriracha. All were great flavors, generous amount of sauce too, evenly covered. For sides we had sweat potatoes with honey garlic vanilla drizzle and mac & cheese, which were their best sellers — and totally valid. The slaps also slapped! 😉 Great service, really friendly staff, 10:10 would recommend! They have patio seating, so we could bring our two dogs.

I've eaten here a few times. Usually it's the best. The wings are fantastic. Best in the city fr. The service is mid usually but nothing to really complain about. Wait times are long but you get fresh food. But I ordered pickup this time instead of eating in and got literally 3 bites of baked beans and that's just crazy. If y'all were out you could have said that and asked about a substitution or something
