We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this establishment. While there was a slight issue with my husband's steak, which was initially prepared well-done instead of the requested medium, the staff was very attentive. The chef promptly prepared another steak for my husband, and they were very apologetic about the mistake. Additionally, they kindly offered us a complimentary dessert. Overall, we were quite satisfied with the experience, understanding that it was a busy Saturday evening, and we did not make a major issue of it.

Yard House in Kansas City brought the flavor, the fun, and the fried squid fiesta all under one high-energy roof 🎉🍤 Nestled in the buzzing Power & Light District, this place was swarming with what I assume was every volleyball player west of the Mississippi 🏐 We braced ourselves for an epic wait… but plot twist: we were seated instantly like we had a VIP pass to the land of beer and bites 🍻🚀
We kicked things off with a mountain of fried calamari—crispy golden perfection with zero chew factor. Either someone in the kitchen is a calamari whisperer or they’re sourcing this stuff straight from Poseidon himself 🦑✨ Already feeling full, I soldiered on and tackled the Korean Beef tacos. Holy flavor bomb 💥🌮 Seasoned to impress, topped with crunchy veggies, and gone faster than you can say “Do you sub sides?” Speaking of which, I tried the rice and beans… and they were very much present. Respectable side hustle but no standing ovation.

The food and service were good once we were seated . Initially the hostess tried to seat us at a table not cleaned with crayons and ranch sauce on the floor , and then said there were no more tables and made us wait 10 min . Clearly not full . Once seated , The waiter at the table was great .

My flight arrived very late, and most restaurants were closed already. Yard House was open, so I went there with my daughter. We were seated immediately. Our server was great, and we loved the food! I will come back again the next time I have the chance! Much appreciation to the friendly and welcoming staff for making our tired evening a still enjoyable one!

Had the 8oz filet mashed potatoes and vegetables. Steak cooked perfectly,seasoned well and mashed potatoes and veggies were amazingly good! Sat at the bar and was in/out on a busy Friday night. Great service and place is well kept and clean.

This was a great place to spend New Year's. The bartenders were super knowledgeable and attentive and the selection was broad. Many good beers and ciders. Very agreeable prices for a downtown place. Ordered fries, very average.

I came with my boyfriend during happy hour and the deals are hard to beat. We recommend getting the Brussel sprouts as an appetizer with one of their MANY beers. Service is always a 10/10. I swear it’s better than any “high end” restaurant. Sam was our server and she was great and super friendly.
