I used to go all the time on my layover because we stayed in Sheraton, it’s closed food was always good & plenty for two days, owner was very nice & pleasant , but looks like owner is changed because two days ago I went & I ordered food there was a two Indian lady who didn’t have a idea about food @ all , for my order they ask what I liked for side I asked soup they said they don’t have than I said okay then salad I make it to go & it was my fault I didn’t check but I didn’t get salad @ all , pita slice was so hard to break it I never had a pita like this , my other order I ordered for my coworkers thank goodness I didn’t give them left in fridge at least they gave me row cold fries & they charge more after tips & tax I don’t know what is that charge for . I mean everything was worse this is not the same place or same owner anymore . It’s disappointing . No I don’t go there anymore . Sorry

Chairs were comfortable, and the small place can get loud at lunch. The food was all dry, tasteless, and cold. The Lentil soup was hot, but really bland. The shrimp was rubbery. Gyro was way overcooked. Maybe I caught them during off time, but I would save you money. They do not serve hummus with the platters. You have to order it separately.
Super tasty, fast, well-priced, and well-proportioned food. No frills, but man, is it hitting the spot.
This is one of the best Mediterranean restaurants I’ve found in the Kansas City area. The food is amazing and the people are very friendly. I got the chicken gyro and lentil soup it was so good. I will definitely be coming back!
I ordered a lamb shawarma and soup, the meat was chewy and felt like rubber and the lentil soup was not fully cooked. Never again
Rice a Roni? Really? I expect better what I go to a restaurant. Not something I can make home. Not likely to recommend or go back.
One of the first and loving it more now! 7⭐️satisfaction🙏🏻✨

Ordered the chicken kabob recommended by the person who works there. Best food I have had in a long, long time. Excellent seasoning and went well with the basmati rice.
Zaina is my favorite Mediterranean food in KC! I catered during Ramadan for an Iftar for my coworkers and the food was prepared on time and turned out phenomenal. It was very easy to coordinate with the owners for catering. The hummus is delicious and creamy, the gyro and chicken shawarma are flavorful and tender, and the pita and rice are also perfectly cooked. Everyone had a great night! I will definitely be back and will cater
for future events :)
Would not recommend the chicken. It was obviously from frozen and when reheated it had a very strange texture. Prices were fair.

Lamb & Beef gyro plate was fantastic and flavorful! The spanokopita was a great starter - but the entree portions are very generous so I'm not sure we even needed it! The salad dressing and Tzatziki are both excellent fresh tasting sauces! Will come back and highly recommend trying it out!

We got a Carryout order of spicy chicken biryani and vegetarian platter. The biryani was only slightly spicy, which we were happy about. The portion of biryani was enough for two people and tasted quite good. It had a lot of bell pepper in it, which was fine with us. The falafel, pita, and hummus were very good also. The babaganoush and grape leaves were ok. I also ordered pistacio baklava, which I thought would be 2 pieces for $3.50 but we got 1 piece.
Service is a bit slow. But overall, the food was decent for the price. We would eat there again when we're in the area.
