Extremely rude owner. He called me out for disciplining my child verbally as she was showing an attitude. He told me it’s child abuse. He has no business getting into my family affairs . The escalation went to a point where I had to leave my food and walk away. Shame and cheat. Probably he does that to intimidate people of color and who are not Americans. Felt really humiliated as he came to my table and called me out in front t of other guests. Will make it a point to avoid this place in future.

I really can't think of anything positive to say about my visit to Zaina on a Friday mid-afternoon. I ordered the lamb shawarma wrap and fries at the counter and found a table to wait. None of the tables had not been cleaned of previous diners, so I just pushed the empty glass and customer number flag to the corner of the table and assumed they would take it away and wipe down the table. When they brought my food out, I asked for ketchup since my table did not have a bottle and others did. She brought me an empty bottle, did not clear or clean the table from the previous customer and disappeared into the kitchen. After getting about a tablespoon of ketchup, I retrieved another near empty ketchup bottle off another table and made-do with 2 tablespoons of ketchup. I then realized that I didn't have a napkin after a couple of messy bites, so I went to the self-serve area for drinks - no napkins. I went to the counter - no napkins. I had to wait several minutes for someone to come out of the kitchen area to get a napkin. She still made no attempt to clear the messy table that now had 2 empty ketchup bottles lying on their side. Ok - here's a positive - the lettuce in the wrap was abundant and fresh, unfortunately the meat was not abundant nor flavorful. Food 2.5 stars Service and ambiance - 1 star

The food wasn't great but the reason I'm writing here is I tipped 7 dollars for my meal and they forgot my hummus. I think I paid 8 bucks for that. Tried calling and they didn't answer multiple times.

You don't know you're in a racist matrix until you're in one. Me and another patron non-white was served on styrofoam and the white patrons was served on diner plates. I was thinking maybe they was closing and didn't want to do dishes until another couple came in and was served on plates. crazy

I was pretty surprised by this place and how bad it was. Got a chicken gyro and a chicken shawarma. Both ended up being the same meat which was really weird, and they were both small. And there wasn’t tzatziki or tahini sauce on it but ranch or mayo or something like that. I love Mediterranean food but this is just not that at all. Would not recommend.

Sorry to post such a negative review but this place is awful. There was nobody in the restaurant which should have been our first clue. Food was not cheap and basically inedible. Lentil soup was flavored strangely and watery. The chicken kabob plate was awful. It seemed like it was rewarded from frozen and flavorless. The rice looked yellow but had no flavor and was old. The pita was good but not great and you had to pay $8.00 extra for hummus. It doesn't come with your meal. Hummus is edible but was also thin and not flavorful. The gyro plate was inedible. The meat was overcooked. Tiny strips of meat atop the mediocre rice not like you expect from gyro meat. They serve Pepsi products and have Coke cans for sale. The service is an entire new level of bad. Person taking our order took non-stop phone calls while we placed our order. Then they wanted to serve our meal, which was not cheap, in to go containers, I guess to save dishes? Throughout the meal, which didn't last long as food wasn't great, we never saw anyone. We heard non stop banging of dishes and pots and pans though. No music, no human interaction. Was hoping for a good place but sadly no.

The employees are incredibly kind and handled the craziness of Christmas season wonderfully. Best lentil soup I've ever had!!
