I love Zhoug. Staff is always friendly and generous with their portions. Food is always fresh and delicious. Also, the atmosphere and location are great at this location. Highly recommend! My favorite is the beef and lamb gyro meat over a hummus and rice bowl!

It was…just okay. Mids a best. Got a gyro pita wrap. Looked NOTHING like the picture on their website. Pita was still kind of cold. Which is weird because it looked like they grilled the pita wrap with the wrapper? There were grill marks on the paper. Kind of strange I’ve never seen anyone grill a wrapper before. The quality of the pita wasn’t great—very thin and flaky and fell apart when I started eating it. Couldn’t tell which end I was supposed to start at because both ends looked open. The flavor of the gyro meat was there but they just need to add more of it. I feel like I got more cold fillings than meat unfortunately which may have contributed to it being lukewarm when I got it. I was there when they put the order together so it’s not like it sat around for very long. Also they gave me all the sauces I had ordered for the wrap on the side so then I had to open the wrap myself, which was a mess, and put them on. Flavor was there but presentation was a hot mess.
Saving grace was the falafel. It was very good. Crispy and tasty. My only complaint is that I wish they gave me more taziki dip. I only had enough for half the falafels.
I wouldn’t suggest getting the wraps unless they get some better quality pita. I’m still willing to give it another chance. My gf got a platter and hers looked much better with the rice. I’ll try a platter next time but that pita bread yall use….yikes. You should consider sourcing a better quality pita.
Vibe in there was…quiet? I dunno. It was 6pm on a Monday and was DEAD inside. Not a single customer. One guy standing at the bus stop in front of the restaurant came in and ordered a fountain drink but that was it. I would’ve expected it to be at least a little busy during the early dinner rush. I’ll give it one more try.
I got a bowl with choice of protein, salad, hummus, rice and different types of sauces. Everything was fresh and tastes so good!! Highly recommended if you’re looking for a fresh bowl!

Consistently delicious and friendly! I've been here several times and it's always been good. Good chicken shawarma and falafels. Also, the pricing is really good (budget friendly). Good place for groups, also kids friendly. Everything is fresh and there are several options. Also, the store and the restrooms are very clean. Good and very polite personnel. Highly recommended!
