Pizza by the Chef @ The Lake

The servers were nice, the pizza and breaksticks were great, and the gelato even better! My only complaint is how long it to the pizza to come out (but it was fresh when it did) and the price. I didn't think it was worth $26 for a large pizza but we're on vacation and it was good!

This store was horrible the girl serving us was kinda nice but not really nice so the first thing is the water taste like lead and burned my throat and my root beer tasted off there was a fly in my sister’s Dr Pepper after like 5 minutes then 10 minutes later we get are food my sister got mushroom pizza the mushrooms where not cooked through all the way and my spaghetti tasted disgusting but I still ate it then the thing I hated was when they came up and said you can’t leave till we get more paper so you can sign it then 10 minutes go by the she said you can just come pay then just the inside was dirty had flys wasps I highly don’t recommend this location I love Kimberly city though I do highly recommend going to the location in Branson West I had a way better experience and wayyy better food

Came in at 630… they close at 8. Pizza on buffet was several hours old, chicken strips were now chicken cardboard and we sat there and ate a whole meal with the server not realizing we never received our wings… when asked turns out they never even started them. Not a great first impression. Will give the benefit of a doubt and try again but doesn’t look promising.

We came for the salad bar and pizza buffet. However, all the pizza on the buffet had been sitting for several hours and was dry and hard. We asked if fresh pizzas could be made and was told that they only make fresh pizzas when most of the pizza with out checking the freshness of the pizza on the buffet. Then we tried some of the brownies that were on the buffet and found that they had been sitting there all day and were as hard a a brick literally you could not bite into them. They did not regularly check the salad bar or see how it was. The pizza buffet was 15.99 $18 dollars after tax and honestly Taco Bell was better. It was a waste of money unfortunately

Went especially for pizza and salad bar but half the table wasn't working so we skipped it. Pizza was surprisingly much better than the time we tried in Branson West which was greasy (6+ years ago). Working salad/pizza bar will be a added benefit. Nothing special about atmosphere but server/manager was friendly and attentive. Glad they offer bottled drinks because like most KC restaurants you can taste that awful Sulphur in drinks.

We stayed in Serenity Resort and they had recommended this.
It didn't disappoint.

Improved drastically since moving to a bigger location. Ice cream is fire, location is beautiful. Pizza is great.

Not only was the pizza and fries amazing, fresh tasting and
presentable, the staff is super friendly. I'm not sure of her name but the young girl with dark hair at the front counter is super kind, super friendly, and clearly cares a lot about people and her job. Thank you and if I'm ever in the area again I will 100% be returning!

Disappointed, especially since we really had our hearts set on having some good pizza! Walked in and ordered a pizza for take out around 3 p.m. Just one group of people was seated. I ordered a large sausage pizza, St. Louis-style, which is always done right at the Branson West location. Took it home (14 miles) only to discover it wasn’t what I ordered. The sauce is on top and it’s not sliced right, so it’s not STL-style. I think this is Detroit-style. It’s the other locations from here on out, I guess.
