I didn’t know how to rate something I didn’t get because when I arrived last night I discovered that they actually close at 9 pm not 10 pm and I arrived at 9:02 pm 🥺 I returned today and I got a pint of 1/2 cake batter and 1/2 red velvet in a waffle bowl. It was pretty good however I would have preferred to have cake pieces instead of icing and sprinkles mixed into the ice cream. I guess they have 50 rotating flavors but only enough room in their display freezer for about 10. I heard that they usually have one sorbet flavor in there and I think there was a sherbet as well. Their credit card reader was down today but you can enter your card number manually.

Our large family showed up about the same time as several other families. The store is very comfortable and the ice cream was delicious! But there was a lone young employee doing her best to handle all the business—sounds like that’s often the case. She worked as hard and quickly as she could and never stopped smiling. She needs some help or at least to be well-paid by the shop’s owner for handling a busy summer night all by herself!

Out of town first time visiting and was amazed with the young lady on duty tonight. She was the only one at the counter and was slammed with customers, yet had an awesome smile for each one! Never once did she show frustration or anxiety. Well done young lady.

Every year when my family comes down to see me we go eat and then we stop by this ice cream shop. They have so many flavors that I would Not have imagined I would enjoy, but when I get a sample out of curiosity, it surprises me how delicious these unique flavors are, this is what keeps me coming back to this place. I never thought I’d like bacon on my ice cream. Or lavender honey and salted corn! Every flavor hits a different mood and is so much fun to try. This year I ventured into trying their coffee. There was only one girl working and she was working her toosh off. She was amazing! This girl can customize your drink and she even has a few personal concoctions up her sleeve that if you ask her what her favorite is, she might share! That iced coffee hit the spot. I highly recommend, especially to visitors who never forget a unique experience and now want to go eat ice cream every visit. Thanks Funky Twig for giving me a place that’s fun and

The Funky Twig has lots of original ice cream flavors that you would never think of like Peanut Butter and Jelly, Corn Flavored, Mississippi Mud Pie, and Pecan Pie. The young people that work there are very nice, and the store is super clean and cute with lots of candles, t-shirts, etc. to buy.
