“This restaurant is fantastic on every count: high quality ingredients, healthy (no guilt) eating and positively delicious food. Love the soup and salad which puts the whole dining experience on a higher level. This food makes tummies happy. It is true comfort food. Atmosphere is nice, but carryout works well too. Portion sizes are generous. I love opening my refrigerator and seeing great meals made by the chef at this great restaurant. They will make any house feel like a home. I’ve taken my girlfriend here multiple times and every single visit has been consistently amazing. The service is always fast, friendly, and on point. The staff moves like they’re running a well-oiled sushi machine but still make you feel welcome and taken care of. Last night we were on a waitlist for 45 minutes, and honestly? That just proves how good this place is. You don’t wait almost an hour for mediocre food. When a restaurant is that packed, that consistently, it tells you everything you need to know. People want it. And once you sit down, you understand why. The food is absolutely delicious. Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented every time. Whether it’s classic rolls or specialty creations, everything tastes like it was made with care. It’s one of those spots where you finish eating and immediately start talking about what you’re ordering next time. I genuinely hope nothing changes because they’ve nailed it. Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. It’s a perfect date night spot and one of the best sushi experiences in the area. The only downside, and this has nothing to do with Sushi Ai itself, is walking through the cloud from the pizza place next door where people tend to hang out. That part can be… aromatic. But once you step inside Sushi Ai, it’s a completely different world. Keep doing exactly what you’re doing. Arnold is lucky to have this place. 🍣🔥”

“Okay so why does nobody do fast food Italian?

I almost never write fast food reviews but these folks were so friendly and we were so surprised by the value that a review seemed absolutely required, hard plastic benches and all.

Fazoli's was new to me, but they are a chain that seems ubiquitous in the Midwest. They mostly offer Italian style food to go. This is much faster than a traditional Italian experience (and wasn't the food quality we experienced on the hill) but it was definitely good food for an exceptional price. We both ordered spaghetti one with meatballs one with meat sauce, our order came with breadsticks also and the total food cost was less than we paid for our coffee earlier in the morning.

The folks at this specific store overheard the discussion about not having been there before and were exceptionally friendly and engaging.

If you are a local you probably know all about these and likely have strong opinions one way or the other, if you haven't seen this before though you have to give it a try.”
