This was one of my favorite stops by far.The food was so good the wife got a cheese burger with bourbon bacon jam and I only got one bite of it it but boy was it good.. I got the tenderloin and it was also very good. We both got waffle fries and they were perfect...The young lady that seated us and served us was absolutely amazing she did her job very well...If you are in or around Kirksville or that area I would highly recommend looking the fort up and giving a try, it was probably the best experience we have to date...

Food was good. Had to ask for silverware, butter, sour cream, drink refills etc., ticket and food came out at different times.Band was playing and we had to yell at each other to talk. Speakers needed to be farther away. Really loud. The staff was really nice.

Slow service. Ok drinks my food taste bland. My wife burger was pretty good . Was I second time back since they opened. Still not impressed with the service or food.
Ordered an appetizer, food and a draft Blue Moon. The beer was hot. It took 45 mins before I got my side salad, no appetizer or food. The salad wasn't good. We didn't wait on the food, we left. The price that we paid for what we got was OUTRAGEOUS. I HIGHLY recommend not wasting your time or money here.

This place was amazing!! The food was excellent! The staff was wonderful! If you are looking for a little road trip to a place that's almost in the middle of nowhere. This is the place to go!! Great job Fort Chariton!

If anyone is interested in being under paid and over worked because management hasn't figured out how to run a business and treat employees this might be the best job for you. If customers seen the kitchen you wouldn't eat here again they don't clean anything
