Always a nice trip with really tasty food, friendly staff, and good brews on tap. While the beer may not have always been a dramatic stand out against a packed beer scene, they were always high on quality and execution. With that said, it is disappointing to hear this location is closing up. I for one will miss it.

The food isn't great. Had an incredibly kind waitress, so no issues with their service at all, but the food is just not on point. We ordered: 1. Nachos- the portion was good, but these guys are using ball-park cheese. I'm not a cheese snob, and happily dive into rotel at home, but their cheese was gross and disappointing. The pulled pork tasted gnarly too. 2. Buffalo Chicken Wraps- we got skeeted on chicken. What was in our wraps was diced incredibly small and was more breading than chicken. 3. House Salad-soggy and sad. Again, it's not bad, and our server was incredibly kind, but the quality of the food is phoned in.

Brought my girls basketball team in for our end of the year pizza party. OUTSTANDING SERVICE and attention to detail by our waitress and the staff in prepping for our visit. We loved it and will be back many more times. THANK YOU!!!!

My friends and I met here for lunch the week before Christmas. We called ahead and made a reservation and decided to meet up right when they opened at 11/11:30 am. When I arrived, my hubby and I arrived, we were early (as always) so we decided to sit at the bar and grab a drink. The bartender was getting set-up for the day and chatted with us a bit while he was working. We asked if we could try a sample of one if their brews and he was happy to let us try some. We each ordered a drink and chatted with him while we waited; he was super friendly! Eventually our friends and kiddos showed up and we all got seated at a table for 12ish. Our server was newer as he admitted, but was still friendly and tried really hard. We were a crazy bunch with kids all over the place and lots of the adults moving around often so he was trying to keep up with who was sitting where. He did a good job. We placed ordered for the kiddos first and then once their food came out the adults decided to order. Our server did a good job at separating checks and writing things down. We helped as much as we could! The food was all delivered quickly and there weren't any mistakes-writing things down definitely helped our server! The food was served hot and the house chips were crispy and delicious! He made sure we had drinks and lots of napkins. When we were finished eating he helped get us some to-go boxes and we helped pick up some of the mess which he told us not to worry about, but we did anyways. It was a pretty great meal with everyone and our server rocked; I really wish I could remember his name. Parking is either in the lots nearby or street parking. They have a lot of space in the restaurant and bar area and they do get busy during both lunch and dinner. I can't wait to go back again to try some other items on their menu! The beers were tasty and had some unique flavors.

Great place for a quick brew or cocktail with the group! Delicate foods and cheap booze drinks! The perfect place to start any group meeting

We came with 22 people to eat dinner. We had reservations for 6:30. They wanted to charge a $10 cover per person then agreed to $5 per person. 4 of our group showed up late and they said they had to charge them the full $10.00 per person because they did not come in with our group at the same time! Update! I spoke to the manager and Janet and she made things right for the group!

Blackberry wheat is great. The aroma and taste is worth the visit

Poor service & mediocre food. If it weren't for the musical events, I'm quite sure this place would shut down. Celebrated a birthday party recently for a friend:: wait staff was slow possibly due to understaffing & over crowding with guests, tables were so close together that we were unable to comfortable sit or pull chairs out to stand up. Food was cold bc it sat at bar waiting to be delivered & front door beast was an angry mean woman who should NOT be working with the public. Only 2 bartenders for a crowd of about 400 - do the math! Worst experience!

Horrible! Worst place we have been to in a long time. $7 cover charge for a terrible band. Staff is overwhelmed. Don't waste your time and money going there. Management and ownership doesn't give a damn Poor bartenders can't make tips cus there under staffed. Our bartender worked is butt off but couldn't get to anyone of the support staff to help DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE

We stopped at Kirkwood Station for a quick drink and appetizer on a weekday night. There are sidewalk tables in front and the interior is huge with ample table seating and bar seating. We sat at the bar where we were waited in by a friendly bartender. There was a good selection of beer, however they were out of a few. For $3 happy hour pints we weren't disappointed! We decided to try out two appetizers and settled on the inside out guacamole (think crispy fried wontons stuffed with pillows of guac) and soft pretzels. Both were good, however I think the inside out guac outshone the pretzels. Although we don't live in Kirkwood I think KSB would make a wonderful neighborhood spot to gather with friends over a pint and snacks.

Was at Kirkwood Station for a School of Rock show and this was the 2nd time I have been here on a Sunday for this event... 1st time back in August; severely understaffed. The place was packed with families and it appeared they had one to two servers tops. I summed it up as just "bad timing" or perhaps some of the scheduled staff didn't arrive. Food was decent, service was lacking and our server was waaaay stressed out. Fast forward to today and again, understaffed. OMG!! You would think that management would plan better or maybe this is just the way the place is operated?? Disappointing because it's a cool venue in Kirkwood with pretty good bar food. Hoping ownership or management read this and make the necessary changes!!

I've been here 4 times now over the past few years and leave with the same impression: Terrible service, food is barely decent and the bartender couldn't make a cocktail.

Great micro brew place to eat

Stunningly bad service. Fish part of the fish and chips was good but chips were tasteless. My dark beer was pretty good. Crazy thing was they had this waitress training a new guy. The hostess was pitching in and she did a great job with the tables she had, but if you get Taylor, just go somewhere else. I won't be back.

If you're going to insist on collecting people's credit cards in advance and keeping them you'd better have a fool proof system for keeping track of them. And you don't. Aside from the fact that my order was wrong, when the waitress returned my card to pay the bill... IT WASN'T MY CARD! And my card got sent to another table! The only thing, the ONLY thing that saved this from becoming a real nightmare was the fact that my card is Commerce... bright green. Had I been with Bank of America (the card I received), in the dark I never would have known it wasn't my card. I would have charged my bill off to someone else and that someone else would have charged their bill off to me. Each of us would put those cards in our wallet and who knows how many days (and charges) would have transpired before discovering this kind of screw up. So never again. I doubt I'll be back and if I am, I certainly won't ever give my credit card in advance for you to keep. I highly recommend that others follow this very sane advice.
