Oberweis Ice Cream and Dairy Store

Quite frustrating to order 20 dollars in ice cream for two people to receive some of the worst customer service I’ve ever had. Starting with a very difficult interaction at the register about simply ordering a shake when they are very clearly open at 8. Then being blatantly ignored and told when asking for napkins and none were available and tables were covered in ice cream is simply unacceptable. After waving a manager over, being told that two hours before close is “close to the end of the shift” is ridiculous. Ive never seen someone be so blatantly disrespectful to customers and not be fired on the spot. I’ve loved going here for the longest time but I will never be going back to this location and Oberweis will definitely not be at the top of my list anymore. Do better. ( Just a PSA that I’ve written TWO reviews ever about bad customer service. )

Ok. 2nd time, I've ever tried it. Got an ice-cream cookie sandwich. Wasn't that great. Too much cookie, not enough ice-cream taste. So, I went back in and got a prepackaged chocolate ice-cream pack. It was like $2 it was way better than the ice cream sandwich. But I know for next time. Next time, I wanna try a sundae or something.

If they had a soda jerk, it would be like an old-fashioned ice cream soda shop

Went in today to get a coconut Sundae I have been craving for months and haven’t been able to get there . They don’t have coconut by the scoop so I still ordered a Sundae , their ice cream is good and as well as their hot fudge but after craving it for soo long their was soo little hot fudge , I ate the 2 bites with the fudge and now have just a bowl of ice cream . So I don’t think this is were I will go next time I want a sundae!

I love the brand. The ice cream is out of this world. The selection is nice. I bought a flavor I had never heard of before and the taste was out of this world. Only drawback from my recent visit was I wanted to buy a $2.50 bag ? to carry my selections home. The cashier acted like I did not have the money. I told her I did not come all the way out there broke. It was not a racial thing because we belong to the same race--the human race. I WILL RETURN TO THE STORE. (And for anyone wondering the flavor is Sweet Lemon Blackberry.)
