Baxter's Lakeside Grille offers excellent food and service, highlighted by a stunning view of the lake, especially at sunset. The menu showcases a range of delicious dishes, including the halibut special, ahi tuna, crab cakes, rib eye, filet, Chilean sea bass, and cedar plank salmon. Appetizers like grilled shrimp and mussels, along with popular soups such as Southwest chicken and rice, add to the dining experience. The restaurant provides great value for a fine dining experience, with notable dishes like blackened Mahi Mahi with mango salsa and steaks cooked to perfection. Customers have praised the extensive menu for its variety and choices, enjoying the amazing food and the incredible tuna salad and soup. While some have noted that portions can be small for the price, the overall quality remains consistent and high. The service is friendly, although it can be a bit slow during busy times. Baxter's is a favorite spot for celebrations, with the staff going the extra mile to make occasions special, such as framing photos for memorable moments. The restaurant's atmosphere adds to its charm, making it a beloved place for both locals and visitors alike.
