People in the shop were great. Ice cream was good, but not the best I have had. I will go again, though. It is in a great spot right on the main drag. Staff was quick and very helpful. I was disappointed that you could only get 1 sample, though. Should be at least 3.

If you havnt came in to meet grandpa, you are MISSING OUT!!! With a smorgasbord of options in flavors and if you dont like ice cream, come in and try the key lime pie on a stick. Or a banana if health is your thing. Come in and say hey!

It's unusual for me to not read the reviews before visiting a shop, but my son and I are trying to visit a mom n' pop ice cream shop in each state and we were in Lake of the Ozarks just as tourist season ended and not much is open. It was a rainy and chilly Sunday and my daughter's 8th birthday, so probably no review would have kept us from going out for ice cream.
But alas, maybe I should have. The "Grandpa" was helpful and patient as our family...
