For the Love of Cake STL

Melissa made the most delicious cupcakes for my daughter’s wedding. We chose two different fillings to display on each table at the reception. I received numerous compliments and inquiries on who baked the cupcakes! She also delivered and set them up for us while we were at the church. The small gluten free wedding cake for my daughter was stunning and delicious. I cannot recommend her enough! She has an amazing talent and is a total professional. Thank you for helping make Sarah and Michael’s wedding day beautiful!

Words cannot describe how beautiful and delicious the cupcakes were that Melissa baked for my daughter’s bridal shower. You have to see them and taste them to believe it! Choosing Melissa was the right choice and I look forward to having her bake my daughter’s wedding cake, and then my other daughter’s, and so an so on. Thank you Melissa!

They truly brought our vision to life — the cake was even more beautiful than we had imagined, elegant and perfectly decorated, a real showstopper at our reception.
And the taste? Absolutely delicious! On top of that, For the Love of Cake STL worked with us on a short timeline and kept everything within our budget, which we deeply appreciated.

Never has cake made me cry! When Melissa delivered my Mom's 70th disco and Soul Train themed birthday cake to Tropicana Bowling alley, that's exactly what happened. I was so surprised to meet the artist behind the magic and she was so kind. My family was also enthralled visually and by the time we ate her cake with layers of yumminess in between, we knew For The Love of Cake STL was undisputed! There wasn't a crumb left and I kid you not the base was scraped of its deliciousness as well. Down to the last morsel, our final creation was dynamite! Haha! You need a cake? You've found thee best place to make it happen. Melissa bakes by day and responds to inquiries in the afternoon or evening. So be sure to email her, be patient, and know that she is constantly conjuring colossal cakes. Yours is up next! I highly recommend this for your cake needs!

This was my first time ordering a professionally designed cake for my birthday. Melissa did not disappoint! I gave her inspiration designs and she did a fabulous job. The end result was spectacular. I ordered a chocolate cake with a raspberry mousse filling. It was absolutely delicious! The cake stayed moist for days and the raspberry mousse tasted like I was eating real raspberries. I would 100% recommend For the Love of Cake STL to make your next cake for any event.

Seriously amazing! The cake was the best texture I’ve ever eaten. I could have eaten a vat of the raspberry crème au beurre filling by itself. The chocolate ganache frosting and cake pop filled cliff top was smooth and surprisingly not too sweet for me, which was so awesome. So many cakes taste overly sweet to me, and this was just perfectly flavored and sweetened! Just FYI, in case you’re wondering, the gelatin part was mostly for the illusion. It is edible, but not flavored. All the adorable wildlife you can see inside of it is molded melting chocolate. So much fun! It reminded my husband of our last cruise and of when he lived in Hawaii for 2 years. It was a little soul crushing to destroy such a beautiful piece of art, but we have some amazing pics and video to go along with the sweet memories. ❤️
