My first experience was not great. But I’m going to give the owners the courtesy of not elaborating here as I consider myself an ardent supporter of locally owned small businesses. Perhaps this was just a one time experience. Maybe I’ll give them another shot sometime in the future.
I love coming in the store. The people are extremely nice and helpful and the selection is beyond compare.
Great high quality meats and a very fine bourbon selection. Mike and his staff are always friendly and welcoming.

Accidentally ran into this place trying to go to games stop, This place is awesome! Everyone seemed really nice and respectful, grabbed 3 burger patties from there and they were amazing!

Great whiskey selection and very nice and helpful staff. You can tell they care about their customers and even gave me recommendations and samples when I last visited. They have a little mark up to big box stores on the whiskey but they have quality products and a great selection and I’d rather support local. I highly recommend a visit.

Absolutely love going into the chop & barrel! Their wide selection of fresh meat is amazing, oh and you have to try Mikes custom made brats, the habanero is my favorite. A massive whisky selection and coming from a person who used to not be a whisky connoisseur, Mike helped me find the right whisky to start with. Check this family owned store out and ask about Mikes whisky barrel picks, you wont be disappointed!
Another great experience at Grillo's. I ordered a 5lb beef tenderloin for Christmas, which Mike trimmed and tied it perfectly. My family and friends enjoyed every bite. Life long customer here.
