“So I live near a sonic and haven’t been to it in awhile because of the service and typically get the wrong item and if it’s the right item it’s usually made wrong… so I was visiting a friend in another town. I was craving a sonic blast because who doesn’t. Well I went and got a blast and both the service and the blast was amazing. The carhop was super nice unlike what I’m used to. So whoever was working in Lawson, Missouri Saturday night give them a pay on the back and know that they did an amazing job and to keep up the good work. When good work is being done everyone can tell and it’s appreciated usually it goes unspoken.”

“Everything a small town diner should be. The folks working was very welcoming, food was really delicious. Can't beat the prices. I'm driving out there just to eat it more. Seems to be a daily eatery for the locals. Looks and feels like an old fashion diner.”

“There is a little shopping area as you walk in. It had some honey,soaps, trinkets& more. The place was quaint and warm. Prices were comparable to other coffee shops. It was an ok coffee. Little light coffee& on flavor. They had a few snacks you could buy. Worth trying again. I enjoy fresh ground coffee houses. Flavors vary at times.”

“Great pizza buffet. We both enjoyed lunch.There is good variety of pizza,and a good salad bar.Also good dessert including something you don’t see, fudge.We didn't ask, but they'll make a pizza if you request it. They made a pepperoni for another party while we were there.We'll be back to visit again”

“This place is amazing!! We are from out of town and were looking for a place to eat around 830. They closed in half hour but were super friendly and service was fast, friendly and efficient. Margaritas and street tacos were on point. Highly recommend!”

“I grabbed lunch here today and was very impressed. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich with pasta salad for the side. To say I was impressed is an understatement. The chicken salad was very fresh and had such a good flavor. It wasn't overly mayonnaised, which I like, but it also wasn't dry tasting. I really enjoyed the pasta salad, and the green olives mixed in with the other vegetables was a great surprise. I will definitely be returning!”

“Our bar tender gave us great recommendations, very attentive, and knowledgeable all around. He offered us a great selection of wines, and even had a chance to show us around the venue. Gave us some history about the establishment- and was very welcoming to us. I highly recommend this place if you are staying near by. Definitely coming back!”

“It’s your typical shake/nutrition shop, but they go above and beyond here. Always have cool specials relative to the season and the Lathrop community. Ashley, the owner, is super awesome and is great at suggesting customizations and alternatives to their enormous menu. I make it a point to stop in every time I’m anywhere near the area.”

Worth every penny, and the amazing, and humble worker (I think she was the owner?) was so sweet and knows how to make a coffee! “Pizza tasted great, very little sauce, but crust was hand done and just the right amount of spice/seasoning in the topping. Awesome amount of cheese! Atmosphere is a mess, too much clutter, recommend sitting in the center away from all the dust catchers. Staff was very friendly!”

“This location has plenty of parking behind and to the side of its location. You will see the smoke and smell it a bit before you see the building. The building used to be a train depot. There is a bar side and the restaurant side and if you want to eat at the tables outside you will need to order to go. They were busy when we arrived but a table opened up right away. It took a while to get our food but it was worth the wait. I will see the sides were okay but the meat was excellent. I typically order the ribs and brisket and the ribs were hands down the winner. The ribs fell off the bone, were a little fatty and didn't even need bbq sauce, yum. The brisket took a back seat but was still good. My husband said his 1/2 chicken was excellent. The waitress was pretty efficient which was impressive given the number of tables she was handling. This place is worth a stop especially if you are staying at the Elms.”

“We stayed at The Elms and really enjoyed this restaurant. We ate here for breakfast lunch and dinner and all 3 were good. We ordered the hangover breakfast by room service and were shocked at how large it was. Delicious and would feed 2+ people, made it worth the $28 price.”

“Took a large group there and was notified as we walked in the door that they were cash only. Between all of us, we were able to pool enough cash. The food was great, the service was a little flustered, probably due to the cash only situation.”

“1st time to get food at Golf Hill Grill. Ordered fried chicken dinner at 7:30a.m. to pickup at 3 p.m. It was ready, and hot. 8 huge pieces of chicken, done to perfection. No extra seasoning, just plain old good fried chicken. Plenty of mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans. Rolls and huge and very good. I Will go back! A new and refreshing place to eat.”

“This is a really good Waffle House. I ordered the biscuits and gravy. DELICIOUS!!! The biscuits were soft n fluffy and full of flavor so was the gravy. Hash browns were cooked perfectly. I highly recommend this WH location, Excelsior Springs MO.”

“Felix, our server was splendid. It was my birthday and a surprise from my wife. Restaurant wasn't too overly busy. However, service was excellent and in a timely fashion. Portion of food was superb, had to get a to go box. Great establishment to eat at.”
