My husband went to get donuts for our family but experienced racism, sadly. Every (white) customer in front of him and behind him in line was allowed to hold their box of donuts while waiting to pay at the register EXCEPT my husband. His box of donuts was set next to the cashier as if he would walk out and not pay. My husband is a man of few words and didn’t make a big deal about it there in the store, but he definitely noticed he was treated differently. Shame on you Lamar’s Donuts. All black people do not steal. We will NEVER patronize this business again and will be sure to tell every black parson we know that they will be treated differently if they patronize your business. I can’t believe this is life in 2024.

I grew up eating Lamar donuts at the original spot on lindwood in Kansas City Mo. I remember walking in and noticing this guy who was so nice selling the donuts. After you gone in so many times he knew your favs and wouldn't even ask you what you wanted. Then you open your bag and your favs are in the bag plus half dozen of glaze donut holes. Next time I go in I say I don't want any holes in my bag today I need to lose weight Mr. Lamar's would say you shouldn't have come in here look at me. We both bust out laughing. I love the glaze but my favs now are the blue berry cake donuts, apple spice or sometimes it's just the plain cake with a cup of coffee the way my grand mother would love to eat LaMars.

We typically go to a different Lamar’s location, but we happened to be closest to this one so we figured we’d stop in to get our donuts. The selection was lacking and nothing was labeled so we didn’t even know what kind of donuts they were. We got three donuts and one specialty and paid almost $15, which is the same price that I paid for six donuts and a specialty donut at a different Lamar’s location. So I’m not sure why the pricing here is so much more than other locations, but when the donuts were subpar and kind of dry, I don’t think they should be that overpriced.

No better than QT donuts for 4x the price. $14 for 3 donuts. One was a filled long john but others were just regular. Won't be back. Crazy expensive!

They used to make the smallest worst LaMar's Donuts. Now they make the donuts bigger and charge you $3 a donut for the small ones and they don't taste any better. Actually tastes worse. Why is this the worst Lamar's
