I had high hopes for Panera. I was sorely let down. I spent $14.86 got a bagel toasted with butter, 2 cherry danish, and a Diet Pepsi. I attempted to eat the bagel but the butter was hard and impossible to spread. I purchased the danish for a neighbor so I took them to her and sat with her while she had one. She took one bite and had an awful look on her face. She said it tasted stale and it tasted like cheese that had gone bad. I threw both of them in the trash☹️.

I ordered today from here for the first time and added and paid for avocado on my sandwich. When I opened the paper wrapper I could immediately see the avocado was brown with darker spots and it was rock hard completely not edible. Seems like a lack of integrity at this location. Probably won’t be back.

They have great outdoor seating options and dogs are allowed. The food is always good quality and you can easily sub out bread you don't like for different bread on your sandwiches. Bread bowls with soup are excellent and they have a cheaper priced meal option on the self check kiosk called value duets many don't know about. It is significantly cheaper and you get half a sandwich and soup for under $9.

I highly recommend THIS specific Panera location! My hubby & I travel a 4 state region & know what to compare to. Paige at the register did an OUTSTANDING job… She is efficient, friendly & kind. She even provided a few of the items ahead of the rest of my carry-out order to accommodate a diabetic family member. The kitchen team is spot on… Everything else (including hot lattes) were ready at the same time! (During previous trips elsewhere, the hot drinks have been made last & by then the food items have gotten cold… Not here!) We decided to dine on the patio, which has 7 or 8 large umbrella tables with short wrought iron fencing to contain use to Panera customers. It was just as clean as the restaurant inside. Chipman Rd Panera is an ideal place for travelers passing & locals alike to enjoy delicious food & specialty drinks. Please say THANK YOU to Paige & the rest of your team!

Needed a pastry basket for the Awesome nurses at the hospital. It was all out delicious!! Thank you so much for making many nurses happy with fresh bagels & pastries. The Panera female manager here is the kindest person & efficient.
One of our favorite locations. We come here to meet with family and friends who have food allergies as we know if they as for dairy substitutes or Gluten-free options, they are going to get what they asked for and be safe. Their food and drinks will taste great as well. We also come here for a place to have relaxed meetings (small) and to work on college homework. The staff is friendly and the restaurant and restrooms are always clean.

We had dinner at the location in Lee's Summit on Chipman Rd. The guy who took our order spoke just above a whisper. My husband doesn't hear well so I had to serve as translator! It seemed the staff was more concerned about cleaning for closing instead of helping customers. We decided to get hot drinks to go so I ordered a hot chocolate no whip cream and a café latte. The hot chocolate was horrible! There was no chocolate flavor and no sugar or sweetener. The latte had no sweetener either. I added sugar to the latte and we left the hot chocolate on the table. Maybe hot drinks should be purchased during the day!
