The last two times that I was there, they did not honor their “happy hour” seating or pricing. 1. Asked for happy hour seating but they sent me to the regular seating and pricing and attempted to charge the full price. I left before they served the overpriced appetizers and drinks. 2. They published half-priced drinks on their happy hour menu but charged the full price. Pearl Tavern never disappoints!
The food is always fresh, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is perfect whether you’re grabbing a casual dinner or celebrating something special. The oysters, seafood (and non seafood) dishes, and cocktails are always spot-on. So grateful to have a place like this in Lee’s Summit — highly recommend!

Pearl Tavern is a restaurant with great food, service, and drinks. The popcorn shrimp and shrimp boil entree are highly recommended, with plenty of jumbo shrimp, corn, potatoes, and sausage. The seafood boil is cooked perfectly, and the crab comes out whole every time. For dessert, the s’mores pie is the best pie ever. They offer a new signature cocktail every month that can be a little sweet but refreshing, and the happy hour prices are unbeatable. The 6 PEI oysters are awesome, and the crab cake appetizer is a great choice. The calamari was a bit overcooked at times, but overall, the food is enjoyable. The venue is well-lit and safe, with a well-maintained restroom. Parking can be tight due to the surrounding area. The staff, including manager Sarah, is friendly and accommodating, handling even difficult situations with professionalism. It’s a recommended spot for a meal or event.
