So disappointed. I have given this place benefit of the doubt many times, but each time I’m bummed by slow and lazy service. The place is too dark, unclean, the glasses hanging above the bar are very dirty, the bartender is never kind to us. I asked for a lemon drop martini thinking that would be simple and he said “I don’t have time for that.” I was shocked. He made a dirty Shirley instead but all I could taste was club soda. Quite literally the worst simple drink I’ve ever had. Place always feels a bit sketchy. Probably won’t go back unless part of the downtown lees summit bar crawl.

1st time we walked in everyone turned and looked at us like a deer in headlights, no one greeted us … it was like we walked into someone’s thanksgiving dinner we weren’t invited to. “The bartender” was making drinks but not once turned to say anything to us. YIKES, there were people hanging out towards the back I’m guessing either regulars or just drunk employees. Anyway, my brother came into town and thought the logo was fun, horrible marketing but here we are falling for it once again. We go in there’s one single guy sitting in the middle of the lobby area watching the Chiefs game that had pretty much ended already and shakes his head “no”…. lock your damn doors… who’s keeping this place in business! Horrible service. anybody visiting downtown LS don’t waste your time or money!

Decided to give this place a shot since Libations isn't open on Monday. So Sad, Has so much potential. 1. I appreciate small cozy spaces. This is NOT! Too dark. 2. Floors are a mess, old confetti, napkins, dirt, not due to concrete floor, nothing against concrete. Get creative for God's sake. 3. Furniture disarray, just left wherever past patrons left them rugs rumpled. 4. MOST DISTURBING. THE HANGING GLASS WARE IS DISGUSTING!!!! NOT EVEN A LITTLE. TOTALLY GROSS! Bartender basically doing nothing! This place has tons of potential but has the look and and feel of no pride and don't give shit. Such a shame.

Hammered bartender couldn't even make drinks. Ordered a drink he made the wrong thing and said I'll cut you a deal $7. Ok whatever. Next time up I'll take a domestic beer can... $6, here's $10... waiting for change he can't operate the register then drops the change in the tip bucket. Ask for my change he digs it out. Drunk patrons walking behind the bar and getting free beers. Last beer he gets me he says $5 then walks off and gets a slice of pizza and never comes back. Would never be here except it's a friends bday. Absolutely mess of a place. Do not go.

Why show you are open until 1:30am and be closed at 12:00am. This has happened on multiple occasions. Shouldn’t even be this upset because the one time I was actually able to come in and get a drink it was sub par. Garnished a Manhattan with an orange peel that looked chewed up. Don’t waste your time.

Fun bar in downtown LS. Random beers on tap which I like. No food options but they'll make almost anything for you. Cozy area. lots of comfortable seating and a private room in the back. One of my favorite downtown bars in LS. Check it out!
