My boyfriend took me here this morning, I have never heard of The fig tree before. Definitely a hidden gem in Lee's summit, best breakfast place around! Service is outstanding, food was amazing! The potato's are to die for, I loved it and we will be coming back many times!

I have eaten here many times and always enjoy the experience. Food is well-prepared and always interesting. This isn't your usual fare. I tried the oatmeal and it was the best I've ever eaten. It had Mediterranean spices in it and was a real experience. It was a little pricey at about $7 a bowl but it was all so very special and I'll do it again. Thank youFig Tree for waking up my taste buds!

This place tempts me back with its gluten free option every once in awhile, and I always regret it. The service is often slow. The gluten free options have exorbitant upcharges for already pricey small portions- gluten free french toast cost $14 for two small pieces of bread, syrup, and a 4oz ramekin of fruit. My coffee this visit had "floaters" and the new mug the server brought had green gunk (lettuce?) stuck to the inside. Disappointing, overpriced, chintzy servings. Used to be a good place but has definitely gone down hill over the last few years.

The food is good. I got a breakfast platter and it wasn't spectacular but then again it's eggs. The staff was very friendly and attentive but the prices are bit much.
I've been here 3 or 4 times now, and although my mom loves them because they are very accommodating of her special dietary needs, every time I have gone I've found the food to be standard and over priced. Today we went in and had the French toast with fruit- at $11 you'd expect it to be pretty heavy on the fruit, but really it just had one or two strawberries cut up and scattered over it. My mom was confused and thought that the meal came with eggs (and for the price it probably should have), but the server was so new and nervous she had someone else come over instead of just explaining what was on the menu herself. They offer a lot of coffee drinks but nothing could be made decaf, so I couldn't partake. Overall, for the price point, there are better places in Lee's Summit.

Amazing Food and great people. I eat here as much as can. The owner is an amazing man and I have yet to meet a staff member that isn't pleasent to be around. Seriously the best value for your money.

I've been to Fig Tree multiple times. I appreciate them being able to accommodate Gluten Free and I can even have several of their desserts (which are delish btw). The service is good and friendly and the coffee is pretty decent. I think they have a nice menu with a good selection of dishes having both traditional and cultural cuisines. I can't speak to their lunch offerings as I have only had breakfast there. I prefer to support small/local businesses when at all possible so I choose Fig Tree for this very reason. I think it's a great spot for breakfast and the service and food are always consistently good. It's definitely one of the best non chain breakfast spots in Lee's Summit!

My visit to the Fig Tree Cafe was a good one. I cannot say a lot about the food itself because I only ordered a pancake. It was huge, so I only needed one. They do offer a pretty good variety of foods and a nice variety of baked goods, which I somehow found the strength to resist. The help was very friendly and very helpful, which to me counts for a lot! Yes, I probably will return.
