“Usually always excellent food here. Their fried chicken Sunday special is always good, and one time it was the best I've ever had. I don't recommend their Friday catfish special though. The one time we tried it it was really overcooked. This last Saturday I had their barbecued pork steak special with two sides, and it was excellent. This is a typical country bar atmosphere with a really nice, farm friendly clientele. We enjoy most every visit here!“

“Was out on a group motorcycle ride and stopped in here with the group. Had no idea this was out here and was pleasantly surprised. Was recommended to get a Purdy burger by on eof the guys we were riding with. Got the original and was hands down the best burger I've had.I'm a big fan of the out of the way, place to eat that are a jem and this was definitely it. Looking forward to riding back out“

“Don't pay attention to the previous review, there are new owners. This place is in the middle of fields. They have outdoor games etc. Could be a great summer day place to visit. I do NOT order giblets.. and we were having a coversation with the owners who are the staff... chef and server. He went and orders giblets and OMG they were perfectly delicious. The chef has training this is not just bar food. You should follow their FB to see what the specials are. We WILL be back.“
