Looking for any old timey spot to travel back in time where the food is indeed maid right. This is you're place to stop. Tiny lil shop. Amazing people. Amazing food. And super affordable to boot. Needless to say found my forever snack shack. Love y'all!
It's a classic drive-in that's been a Lexington icon since the 1940s. Cash only but there's an ATM inside. Really popular for lunch and supper especially in the summer so sometimes it's hard to find a spot to park. Good sandwiches and crinkle fries, good onion rings, and the best milkshakes and malts in town.
This isn't something to go out of your way for but it is worth the stop if you're in town. It feels like a time machine to a different era, 100 years ago, before Sonic and McDonald's ran every small town. Crumble, or loose meat sandwiches are the unique item here with all the fast food normals, fries, onion rings, soft serve and chili. A very small inside with stool seating and original drive up order spots outside with carhop service. Keep these old originals alive....
