Our accommodation nearby (Atlantis) did not offer food, despite breakfast being included when we booked on booking.com, so we were lucky to be sent to this bakery/cafe for breakfast every day during our three-day stay in Plakias as the hotel has an arrangement. The breakfasts served by owner Maria and her staff were superb: amazing choice, superbly presented, enormous portions, fantastic coffee and fresh juices etc. The cafe is right on the seafront with free parking outside, has been recently modernised and has beautiful decor, excellent Wi-Fi and wonderful views across Plakias Bay towards Souda. Cannot recommend it highly enough - just go, you will not be disappointed.

A slightly quirky and interesting cafe in a nice setting. Used it for lunch once. Food was good, service a little slow and slightly overpriced, but would definitely go back.

One of 4 pancakes was really burned. Some soft biscuits in our crepes, didn’t satisfy me and the kids. Fizzy Peach drink wasn’t fizzy. Plain juice. Other than that the draft beer was cold and nice. The service was fast and polite. Average at its best.

A fab café/bakery serving excellent coffee, cakes, ice creams, pancakes. Overlooking the sea. Friendly staff, very clean toilets, some unusual seating/tables on different levels.

Enjoy your coffee or drink, delicious crepes sandwiches, traditional sweets etc. all freshly made by Efthimis with personal care and love. The lounge is decorated very smartly and the view is breathtaking. Ideal place for breakfast, midday snack, or to admire the magnificent sunset of plakias savouring a cocktail. Efthymis and all the staff are always smiling, and eager to keep every customer happy. We' ve been visiting Plakias every summer for years now, and this is our favourite spot. Do not miss!
