“I was in town visiting my grandma who lives in Nevada,MO and the food was certainly worth the 30 minute drive. I had the burnt ends and they were amazeballs and the deep fried mushrooms were another great hit. I’d eat here daily if I lived closer. This place not only has a grill and dinner but also has a small grocery store too. The husband and wife (assuming) running the place were so nice and happy to answer any questions. “One of the BEST friend chicken places in SEKS. The chicken is cooked to order, and that gives you time to enjoy the onion rings and fried mushrooms (both are hand-battered!). The chicken strips are my favorites along with the baked beans and homemade french fries. But if you're looking for the whole SEKS experience, get the German potato salad and slaw.
