I have been going to Chicken Annie's Original since I was a small child. My Sister took me for my birthday. Making memories. Best fried chicken ever. Crispy crust juicy chicken and handmade bread. Dessert too. Pies I'm just saying.
It's great and worth the drive. As is Chicken Mary's.The chicken recipe is good and the sides are generally good. My family has been going here for over 50 years--you should go, too!

You simply must go to experience the ambience of a bygone era. There are just so many decorative chickens to look at. I also loved the retro video games, and the glass telegraph insulators. I ordered the mozzarella sticks. They were bad. I tasted my friend's fries; fantastic. One of my dining companions reports that the fried chicken was fabulous.
