I’d never tried 3halves BBQ until about a week ago. Let me just say, I’ve had BBQ from Texas, Memphis, Oklahoma and Carolina. 3halves is some of the best I’ve ever had. I got the pulled pork sandwich and it was fantastic! The sauces are just as good. I like a lot of smoke flavor in my BBQ and they delivered. Amanda was our waitress and she was super personable and made sure we have a wonderful experience. My fiancé got the smoked turkey. I’m not a big turkey person, but it was impressive. We will definitely be back as regular customers. Thanks Amanda for the wonderful service you provided!

WE LOVE 3 Halves off the Historical Downtown Liberty Square!!! NOT only do they have great, friendly service, an awesome patio, YUMMY food, a cool bar and atmosphere, WE chose to host our oldest daughter's high school graduation party in the 3 room. IT WAS amazing, we had the best and attentive server and fun was had by all. ALWAYS try to support local and go try them today!!! You can thank me later! Thank you so much for a great party!!!

We went in for lunch. I ordered the sliced brisket sandwich with corn. My wife ordered the sausage sandwich with fries.
The brisket was excellent. It had great bark and rendered fat. The brisket was cut thick. It melted in your mouth and the flavor was good. My only critique is that the brisket lacked that wood smoke flavor.
The corn was terrific!
My wife loved the sausage sandwich. The sausage is made in house and had a really good taste and flavor.
The fries were fried in beef tallow and was excellent! They had just the right amount of seasoning.
My wife and friend got a flight of beer. They enjoyed all the flavors and walked out with a couple of six packs.

Fantastic BBQ! First time visiting and we were pleasantly surprised. We had the. 2 meat plate with burnt ends, sliced brisket and another with polish sausage and pork belly burnt ends. Sides were spicy Cole slaw and baked beans. Also had the cheese curds which were spicy too. Meat was spot on and the sides were terrific! We will definitely be eating here again.

I ordered the pork belly burnt ends. They were dry. My tater tots were cold. My old fashioned didn't have any whiskey in it. There were a ton of fruit flies. Our server was slow. We won't be going back.

Been eating BBQ in KC for years, this is by far the worst I’ve ever eaten, the heartburn from the Sauce is horrible and the beans were hard and cold.

Ordered food thru Door Dash last night and so glad we finally tried your food. Best BBQ we've had in a long time. Had the 5 meat platter so we could try a lot. Definitely could feed 4 adults easily. The only thing that I would have liked to try was your beans. They must be good because you were out. Next time Definitely. The macaroni and cheese and the corn was delicious too. Will be eating there again, maybe dine in next time! Highly recommend!

Read several reviews that the smash burger was outstanding. Tried it today and I’m not sure where these reviews came from. The burger I got was grey looking not seared at all bun was greasy and cheese curds were very dark like they were cooked in very old oil. $20 for a smash burger cheeses curds and a coke. I won’t be back!

She takes great care of you, but don’t expect her to sugarcoat anything (unless it’s your BBQ sauce). My favorite part? She sizes up your beer order with a side of snark: small beers are “girl size,” and large beers are “boy size.” Not sure how that lines up with modern etiquette, but hey, it works! Come for the BBQ, stay for Amanda’s hilariously unique service. She’s the secret sauce that makes 3 Halves a must-visit. Just don’t order a “girl size” beer if your ego can’t handle it!
