Love this little place in the heart of Liberty. Must return for lunch! It is a bit on the expensive side for breakfast but worth it.

Service was friendly and great. The Latte was good and the Crab Omelette was fantastic, real crab with green onions. The Rosemary bacon was interesting but good. The biscuit was like a dinner roll, warm, and soft, very good, different for breakfast but good nevertheless. Highly recommend eating here.

5 for everything. Hands down, the best eggs , B&G, andpotatoes served for breakfast. The Staff is always welcoming.
This is the BEST breakfast restaurant in Liberty. Their eggs are always cooked to order; pancakes are consistently perfect; many healthy options, too. The restaurant is a little loud, but the wait staff is very accommodating and so cordial.

Tucked away on charming Liberty Square, Ginger Sue's offers a delightful breakfast and lunch experience that warms the soul from the moment you step inside. Stepping off the bustling streets into the restaurant's inviting embrace, guests are greeted by attentive staff who ensure coffee mugs remain full and service strikes a perfect balance between attentiveness and privacy. This recent visit, like many before, proved Ginger Sue's dedication to fresh, delicious food. My husband and I opted for savory options - a perfectly cooked make-your-own omelet and a hearty sausage gravy bowl - while sharing the star of the show: the carrot cake pancakes. Offered only once a year, these delightful pancakes are a must-try for any carrot cake enthusiast. Perfectly spiced and boasting just the right touch of sweetness, they're topped with a dollop of creamy "frosting" and served with a side of syrup. Be warned, their limited-time appearance makes them even more tempting! But the praise doesn't stop there. Ginger Sue's is renowned for its biscuits, and rightfully so. Light, fluffy, and bursting with flavor, they're so good they could be a meal in themselves. In fact, on this visit, I almost considered forgoing the rest of my meal and indulging in a plateful of these delectable pillows of dough. Generous portions are another hallmark of Ginger Sue's. While hearty enough to satisfy even the hungriest diner, they don't overwhelm, allowing you to fully savor the quality ingredients and culinary expertise behind each dish. Whether you're drawn to the seasonal offerings, daily specials, or classic menu staples, you're guaranteed to find something that tickles your taste buds. In conclusion, Ginger Sue's is more than just a restaurant; it's an experience. From the warm atmosphere and friendly service to the consistently delicious food, it's a place that leaves you feeling satisfied and eager to return. So, next time you find yourself in Kansas City, do yourself a favor and step into Ginger Sue's for a delightful culinary adventure. You won't be disappointed.

Arrived here about 9:30 AM and were seated immediately in the upper section. We were provided a menu. It was about 10 minutes before any type of service was offered. By then I knew what I wanted to eat and drink. It would be about 20-25 minutes before my order and my husband s order arrived. My husband received his complete order. I received only my pancake. We also had to ask for silverware and that took several minutes to get. By the time our server returned with the silverware had checked my pancake to discover it was cold. I asked for a new one and was informed it would take 10-15 minutes to get another-, which is ridiculous, but I sent it back anyway. I had not yet received the rest of my breakfast-an omelet. It would be another 5 minutes before that came out. The omelet was still hot, the biscuit was cold and the potatoes were not well seasoned and were overdone. My pancake did take another 15 minutes and was hot when I it came to the table, however, it was also over done on one side. The restaurant did not charge me for my meal, thankfully, but I was very disappointed in my breakfast overall. I've been a c customer since they opened in Liberty and this was my worst experience

A nice casual dining spot. Food was good (be prepared for large pancakes) and just a relaxing atmosphere. I would recommend giving it a try. I will be back to sample some other dishes.
