Mel's Diner & Quick Stop is an excellent place to visit. They were open on Sunday for St. Patrick's Day, and the corned beef and cabbage dinner was outstanding, with the corned beef melting in your mouth. The food is absolutely amazing, with the chicken fried steak, green beans with bacon and ham, mashed potatoes smothered in white gravy, and toast being a customer favorite. The tenderloin has a delicious batter and is fried to perfection. The restaurant also offers garlic cheddar bites as a new appetizer, which can be enjoyed with ranch or marinara dipping sauces. The warm and inviting atmosphere, along with the owner's wonderful personality, make Mel's Diner & Quick Stop a great place to relax and enjoy a meal.
