Five starts in every way! Adorable space, impeccable service, and delightful food and drink! I brought a friend and two older adults. We each had something different--biscuits and gravy, the stuffed French toast, and a burger. Everyone loved everything. We also had drinks. I love my gin and tonic and the black pepper and? Bloody Mary was delicious. I also took some sandwich cookies and some gooey butter cake home! Perfection! I can't wait to come back to the Blue Duck!

My family and I took a short weekend trip to get away and take our kids to the St. Louis Zoo. After looking through several restaurant options we close The Blue Duck. Honestly, the menu looked great, but I'm a sucker for restaurants with weird names. The food was amazing! Highly recommend the bacon fat fries, made the regular fries taste amateur. I got the Eggs Beneduck, and it was delicious. The hollandaise was different from any I've had before. My wife had the Monte Cristo and it did not disappoint. She loved it and it was way more than she could eat. My daughter left her purse and we were two hours into our trip before she realized it. My wife called and talked to the manager and they agreed to ship it back to us, and never sounded like it was a burden but they were just glad to help! I will recommend this to everyone I can. Local and unique it was amazing.

Wowzers! My fourth time here, but first time reviewing, and I have to say that there really isn't a bad thing on their menu. It has all been fantastic, including brunch. In addition to knocking it out of the park with their food AND in house made desserts, their bar puts out some fantastic cocktails - Perfectly executed classics and some creative, wizardry crafted original cocktails. Don't sleep on their whiskey and beer options. I like their simple counter service for ordering when you walk in. After you order, prepare for some extra attentive, friendly table side service. It's a really nice model. What we had this go-round: - Duck Gazed Manhattan (4.5/5): Very well executed manhattan. I liked the hint of duck fat. Gave it a nice mouth feel. - Orange Chicken Wings (4.25/5): Fresh, hot, loaded with flavor. I am a fan! - Challah Back Girl (4.5/5): GET THIS! Fantastic burger! Really great blend of complimentary, layered taste piling on some nice beefy flavor. Gwen would be proud! - Bigger Quack (4/5): Solid, American classic bacon cheeseburger. - Chicken Nashville Hot club (3.75/5): Nicely constructed and the bun and sauce was amazing. The chicken was a bit dry and I felt like it need some extra Nashville sauce. - Pork Belly Cheese Fries (4.9/5): GET THIS! Oh man, these really are worth the calories. Best bite at the table! - Coconut cake w/ coconut, fudge and caramel ice cream (4.5/5): Really, really, really good! This was their dessert of the week. Fantastic. Overall vibe is laid back and high energy. Can't wait to hang out on their rooftop!

Burger - 6.6/10 - a bit dry but not the worst burger I've had. Well cooked. Fries - 7.9/10 - good crisp, housemade ketchup a plus. Some skimpy fries holds them back from a 9+ Drinks - 8.0/10 - really good presentation, small portions but quite boozy. Some a little too boozy. Service - 10/10 - amazing service, no complaints. Above and beyond. Ambience - 6.8/10 - sat on first floor. Toddler at table next to us was a negative. Numbers on table bring down overall vibe. Rooftop patio looks cool, will have to check out next time Overall - 7.1/10 - solid spot overall, really good service and drinks. Excited to go back and see what the upstairs rooftop has to offer.

The service is kind of lacking. It doesn't look like they assign a server to an area, so you don't get the same person each time. This caused us to be basically ignored until our food was served, and ignored again until we were done.

My husband and I loved this place it has a very relaxed atmosphere, the whole staff is super friendly and they really take care of you (even spoil you ) The food is absolutely delicious it really outstands among brunch places, my Benny was amazing! Loved the brown butter hollandaise and the sweetness and crunch of the glazed ham, the chips were delicious as well, the drinks were amazing, definitely we can't wait to go back ❤
